If 2016 has taught us anything its that its good to be the bad guy. I was able to spend a couple of hours playing the newest Free to Play Strategy RPG, Super Villains War: Lost Heroes, and I walked away thinking that after more time with the game, developer CJKE could have a hit on their hands. Unfortunately, any good experience I could have possibly had, was marred by an long, drawn out, tutorial which is un-skippable.

Fans of Tetris might want to check out this game. Dubbed TwinTrix, it takes the idea of using shapes made of blocks to complete lines, but turns it into something a bit more competitive, as it’s designed with two players in mind and is formatted in a split screen fashion. The way it’s designed is that shapes of a wide variety are comprised of the colorful squares that we’re all familiar with.

Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. will be updating their popular mobile title Star Wars: Force collection on December 14th. This update brings a third set of cards inspired by Rogue One: A Star Wars™ Story. Players will be able to collect two new 5-star character cards: Captain Cassian Andor and Darth Vader. Making their way into the fray alongside Captain Andor will be Alliance loyalists K-250 and Bodhi Rook. In addition, there will be two imperial specialists introduced from Rogue One: A Star Wars™ Story: Shore Troopers and Tank Troopers.

In this game, players are looking to scout and colonize an unfamiliar world, and will be “tapping” the local aliens to help out (see what I did there?). There isn’t much in terms of actual game play, beyond tapping on the aliens for them to gather resources, players can then use what is harvested to hire more of the same, or new and different aliens.
Released by, Caveboy Go is a new game on Android where players assume the role of the eponymous Caveboy, who sets out to find his friends that are apparently lost within a labyrinth. The game is set with the labyrinth, and players are looking to progress from one room to the next. This is accomplished by finding patterns in the floor.
Released by Dojo Arcade, Creature Battle Lab is a game where players can experiment with different combinations, in order to formulate the best creatures for real-time battle. Players will be assuming the role of a laboratory intern, but that’s more dressing for the combat.
Righteous Hammer Games has put together a polished and engaging title in Solitairica. It was released on iOS some time ago, and Android gamers have been waiting on this one for a while. If you enjoy playing Solitaire, RPG’s and card-collecting, then this game will be right up your alley.
Konami has announced that their upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh based collectible card game, called Duel Links, will be launching globally soon. So far this game has soft launched in Japan back in November 2016 and has already racked up over 5 million downloads within 2 weeks just from that region alone.
