It is time once again for our mid-week round-up of Android games that are currently on sale right now over on Google Play. While this mid-week round-up isn’t a huge list of titles, what is on sale all happen to be pretty great games so sometimes it isn’t about quantity but quality instead.

The rather popular game from Deceased Pixel called Super Mega Worm has made the jump from iOS to Android finally. If you used to own an iOS device, chances are you’ve probably played this game and are just happy it is now finally available for Android. A new physics-based puzzle game has arrived onto Google Play called Stay Alight. Developed by WYSE Games, Stay Alight features some pretty impressive visuals that make this a pretty unique physics-based puzzler to play. While the game itself is almost your standard title in this genre, the visuals are what sets this game apart from the others.
A couple of days ago we talked about Nevosoft who were gearing up to release an endless running platformer called City Cat onto Google Play today. Sure enough the game has arrived right on time and comes complete with what looks like the twisted offspring of Nyan Cat and Garfield as the main hero.

We already mentioned earlier today about the 50% off for IAPs in Kemco’s Machine Knight RPG. Well there are a few more games for sale as well over on Google Play that you might be interested in.
Following in the footsteps of the nVisions digital magazine, Gamefly have released their own interactive digital publication as well called GameQ. As you might expect from gaming industry themed publication, GameQ will contain in-depth stories, interviews and more. Just like the nVision’s magazine as well, the GameQ magazine is available only for tablets.
The folks over at Slashgear have made an interesting observation over today’s Angry Birds Space update which could be a hint at things to come in the future, or not. However, the inclusion of what looks to be the pink Simpsons donut, being munched on by an Angry Birds pig, seems to be an interesting little visual.
Alright so as many of you may know, we experienced some technical difficulties the past starting Thursday of last week and it took roughly two days to fix everything and get back up and running. In that short period of time, many of you, like myself, were probably rocking back and forth in a corner dribbling on yourself not due to not getting your DroidGamers news fix. Well here is what happened.
Roughly two weeks ago Sega released a beta version of a new social RPG called Fallen Realms. Style after the more old school type of RPG titles out there, instead of moving a character around with a virtual joystick/D-pad, you would just use tapping to go from place to place. Today, Sega drops the beta tags and Fallen Realms is now officially live.
Are you trying to develop a game by yourself or with a small group of people but don’t have the $1500-3000 for that sweet commercial developer kit you’ve been wanting. Well there are some alternatives and one is the newly released Corona Game Edition SDK by Ansca Mobile which offers cross-platform game development including for Android.
