A couple of days ago we hinted at hosting a giveaway that was going to be pretty epic in the next 24hrs. Well we are a bit later than 24hrs, but you can blame CES 2016 for that. Speaking of which, we have a ton of stuff to post already from the show, so expect a lot of posting over the next few days. Regardless of that, we did want to get this out now because this giveaway is pretty awesome.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, a third-person action game set in the Metal Gear universe, is a must-play entry in the award-winning espionage series now available on Shield Android TV. It’s Metal Gear and as we know from previous experience, every new chapter in the franchise brings something new to the story, and when it comes to Revengeance it also brings a whole lot more to the gameplay.
Nival returns to their popular tower defense strategy game Prime World Defender. I know what you are probably thinking, tower defense…hmmm… moving right along. Wait. One of the great things about mobile gaming is that there are a lot of games available. That too, can also be a downside of mobile gaming, because good, fun and quality games are a little bit harder to find. Jump Warrior is an RPG that will pit you against skeletons and other beasts, but not quite in the way you expect.
Kongregate is planning to publish a new RPG soon called BattleHand, which was developed by Another Place Productions. Some of the team over there were a part of the team that made Fable, if you’re familiar with that game. So they do have quite a bit of experience on their team.

Back in July of 2015 DotEmu announced it would be bringing the classic arcade game Pang Adventures to Android. Well it looks like that game is finally going to get released soon and on multiple platforms outside of Android as well, which includes the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Back in the golden days of arcades Pang Adventures, or Buster Bros as it was called in some countries, was one of the more popular titles to play.
The third installment into The Room franchise is now available in beta form. Official release next week.
Fireproof Games is gearing up for the release of the third installment into their The Room franchise next week by starting up a public beta for Android gamers to sign up for. In a slightly interesting twist, when signing up for the beta on Android, you’ll have to pay for the game to participate in it should you get selected. When it officially launches next week, you’ll have access to the final version as well.
Sony’s press conference this year at CES 2016 is probably going to focus a lot on the company’s upcoming Virtual Reality headset, the Playstation VR. As for mobile related goodness, there is a possibility we could see a new Android device announced. I’m personally going to say that instead of a new Android device, we will probably hear more about additional second screen technology being developed for Sony’s Android devices.
