We mentioned yesterday that it seemed like a lot of developers were putting their games on sale to celebrate Valentine’s Day. While finding it a bit humorous that Valentine’s Day seems to be a hot day to put games on sale, we figured it would be good to compile a list of these sales.
It seems that there are quite a few good sales that have already started or will be starting in order to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Who knew Valentine’s Day was such a popular day to put games on sale, not that we are complaining of course.
The newest addition to Gameloft’s soccer series of games has landed on the Android Market as a free download. Real Soccer 2012 lots of improvements with it over the last edition plus you can now create and share content thanks to the new Custom Kit Editor that comes with the game.
Another highly anticipated game is heading to Android soon. In fact it will be arriving on Android next month according to a Tweet from Gameloft. So what game are we talking about? Why it is Dungeon Hunter 3 of course!
Well it appears that the soft launch for Gameloft’s Xbox style social service, called Gameloft Live!, has ended and now it is available on the Android Market. If you nabbed this application during the soft launch, the only way to get it was through Gameloft’s own store.
We’ve got fantastic news for fans of Gameloft. Resident Editor-in-Chief Andrew Huff met a number of the fine folks from Gameloft during CES 2012 and they’ve agreed to finally sit down with us and answers some of the most pressing questions.
If it seems like we’re picking on Gameloft today out of pure hate, that isn’t the case. Gameloft games are top notch and most contain polish and work that rival console companies. With that being said, they’re just easy to pick on in terms of Android support.
Imagine this: Gameloft releases a brand new trailer for Modern Combat, Modern Combat 6: World War Space, and suddenly you find yourself brimming with sweat and your mouth strangely dry.The graphics induce uncontrollable eye twitching and that new gameplay mode renders your jaws grounded and mopping the floor (while knowing touchscreen control is terrible, but you’ll play it anyway).
It’s no secret that Gameloft likes to take liberty with inspiration when it comes to major triple A blockbuster games. Modern Combat, N.O.V.A., Backstab, Gangstar, 9mm, Order and Chaos, should be all familiar to those who own a PC or console for the past five years. This time Gameloft may have outdone themselves with Gameloft Live.
Users of the Sprint network will be getting a couple of Sprint ID packs heading your way starting today from Gameloft. There will be an HD Games ID Pack and a Top Games ID Pack only for Sprint users. The selection of games isn’t too shabby either.
