This is going to end up being a headline for awhile when it comes to the Xperia Play regarding new games being released from developers which will be exclusively for the Xperia Play. This time from Gameloft who announced on Twitter a new game called Backstab which is slated for release sometime in Q2 2011 and will be exclusive for 1 month.
The most anticipated Asphalt 6: Adrenaline is finally here. It’s starting to look like Asphalt 6 is gearing up for release onto Android. Why do we say this? It seems as though Gameloft is doing their usual habit of slowly leaking out purchase pages and whatnot to test them out before they release the game associated with that page. Asphalt 6 is starting to make an appearance now.
We knew this day was coming since back when we posted about the limited closed beta that was going on and then with Gameloft officially announcing it was coming a little over a week ago. The purchase page went up a few hours ago and it is indeed working as well as Gameloft confirming it is out for Android now.
Gameloft officially announced that Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus would be released ‘soon’ and since then reports have ranged from Jan 18th – early February. However the only other specific date mentioned is Jan. 28th, 2011 which is right around the corner. In fact multiple sites are reporting that it will be Jan. 28th, 2011.
