A few days ago we reported on Square Enix and Nvidia basically teaming up to bring a few of Square Enix’s other games over to Shield devices. In that announcement four games were mentioned, although more titles were hinted, all of which were labeled as coming soon. Well one of those games, the critically-acclaimed action puzzle game Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, is now available for Shield devices via GeForce Now.

Welcome to the DroidGamers Indie Spotlight. As the amount of games being released in the Play Store increase exponentially, some really great games get overlooked. Sometimes, it is even more difficult, being an Independent Game developer to get your game noticed. Indie developers Brain&Brain have released a new trailer for their upcoming title Burly Men at Sea. This particular folklore adventure is actually really interesting looking, mainly thanks to its rather unique storybook narrative style, both in terms of gameplay and its visuals.

Plenty of Virtual Reality news today as Samsung has made it an official ‘thing’ that if you are planning to pre-order one of the newly announced Galaxy S7 devices, you’ll also receive a Gear VR bundle with it for free. So what comes in the free Gear VR bundle? Well, it’s actually not a bad little deal.
Released by Bee the Swarm, Zombees is a new dual stick shooter for Android. Players will assume the role of the sole bee that’s attempting to surviving the insect equivalency of the zombie Apocalypse, brought about by insecticides. There are multiple protagonists to choose from, with a variety of stats that differ for each one. The game includes different weapons that are dropped when Zombees are killed, as well as health and speed boosts. The game includes 25 levels (with the possibility of more to come).

Over Valentine’s Day Telltale Games hosted a special stream where they showcased the first six or so minutes of gameplay that will be available in their upcoming The Walking Dead: Michonne mini-series. Today there is a new trailer for The Walking Dead: Michonne to check out as we get closer to the series’ launch.
We just touched on this subject in our earlier article today about Nvidia’s Shield Android TV having its Marshmallow update starting to roll out as of this morning. In that article we mentioned that original Shield tablet owners had been waiting for Nvidia to re-release the Marshmallow update for that device which was pulled due to a pretty nasty bug.
Mobile World Congress 2016 has started and Samsung held their usual Unpacked event that they do each year, but this time the company’s focuses was a lot on mobile gaming. during their event, Samsung ran a tech demo which was to show off Unreal Engine 4 running with the new Vulkan platform.
