If you haven’t gotten sick of hearing about OUYA yet, there is good news for you! We have more information about the hardware design thanks to a Q&A session going on over at Kotaku. One of the biggest surprises so far to come out of the Q&A session is the fact that the OUYA unit itself will be roughly the size of a rubic’s cube, making it a rather compact console.
Anka Mobile Division may already be known to you dear readers with some of their releases. Well this time they come with two games developed by SOBEE, that feature a rather famous friend in Turkey: Supercan. Gamelion has decided to lower the price of their rhythm themed game Boom Beats to a lower price. Actually it isn’t a sale or anything like that, they just decided to make the game free instead, permanently. If you have played other rhythm games on Android such as Cytus, you should be able to jump right into Boom Beats.
A rather unique action strategy games has landed on the Google Play store called Fire Jumpers. Developed by Redblox Games, Fire Jumpers features a rather unique theme in which you command a team of elite firefighters on the ground and in the air via helicopters.
Game Informer has been a publication in the gaming section for a long time, somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 years. While their mainstay has been physical publishing of their magazine as well as their website, Game informer is now expanding their digital magazine offering onto Android for tablet owners.
There was a trend beginning to grow at this year’s E3. Though previous year’s E3’s have led up to this, it was inevitable, but nobody is could predict what it would be in it’s current form. There were a few key words floating around E3’s press conferences this year. Some important examples were, cross-platform, web-app, asymmetric gameplay and tie-in, but the word that took the conference by storm this year was mobile. It has taken a long time for people to fully realize and utilize the potential of mobile games. At this year, It may have finally happened.
A feature that should have been in place from the jump, or at least some part since Android’s inception, is the ability for developers to respond to customer comments on Google Play. Well that feature, something anyone who has developed for Android knows we’ve always wanted, has finally arrived… sort of.
