Samsung has announced that they are reaching out to developers on the android market to improve existing applications to work with the higher resolution screen in their newest product, the Galaxy Tab. Samsung also say that soon the tablet will be receiving Android 3.0 Gingerbread which should be better suited to 3D gaming and have a more tablet friendly user interface.

Recently we reported on id Software’s newest game, Rage, being previewed at QuakeCon running on an iPhone and that it would possibly be showing up for Android as well. Rage is their newest FPS title which has already received huge praise from the gaming industry including 3 awards being won at E3: Best Console Game, Best Action Game and Special Commendation for Graphics.
We aren’t exactly sure when this happened aside from very recently but if you are one of the gamers who bought Avatar HD from Gameloft you might want to be glad you were quick at doing so. It seems that Avatar HD has been pulled from the site, both the free trial and the full version. The reason behind this is also unknown at this time.

Currently there is Vendetta Online which is making a fully interactive client for Android, Runes which is currently in limited open beta right now and we suspect the new DvideArts RPG will also be an MMO. You can now add Clockwork Runes by Bonafide Software onto this growing list now.
Only a few short days ago Rovio, developers of the #1 game on the App Store called Angry Birds, finally released a beta of the Lite version of their game onto the Android market. You may also remember in our article warning you about another game ironically called Angry Birds by developer CrazyAndroidApps. It seems we were not the only ones to notice this!
