Taichi Panda Heroes is well supported and oft updated, two things that can’t be overstated in the mobile gaming world. This week they’ve got their Lunar New Year update that will bring some freebies, and the new Hero General Bu. Rugged and Mysterious, this famed martial arts master is available now. For anyone logging in during the Lunar event, you’ll receive 200 bound diamonds and 500k gold, so just under ten bucks worth.

Indie developer Serkan Bakar has already released around 11 games onto Android and now his newest title has arrived, making it his 12th, called Yobot Run. This particular game is actually a retro style platform than an arcade runner, and it is a pretty neat one at that.
The developers behind the upcoming Titanfall Frontline mobile game have decided to cancel the game for right now, citing that they want to make the game more refined. Since the developers, Particle City, are not happy with the game’s current status and quality, they’ve decided to cancel its launch for right now while they work on it.
Developers going by the name of Game Pistols have released their debut title onto Android called Mazing Penguin. This particular game combines a running arcade game with terrified penguins and mazes, some of which are nature-built, while others happen to be within different cities.
King of Fighters is making waves with their announcement of their new mobile title, King of Fighters: World. It will be released by SNK, the same developer who’s handled their other mobile titles and also the popular “Metal Slug” series.
While everyone with an original Shield Android TV console is waiting to get the Android 7.0 (a.k.a Nougat), which has plenty of confusion as to exactly when that will be arriving (around a week from now), the Shield Android TV isn’t the only Shield device getting the OS update soon. The Shield Tablet will also be getting the OS update but that is still a bit further in the future.
Heroes of the Dungeon, the least imaginatively titled RPG in the world, released a new content update for their crawler this week. It’s pretty jam packed with content including two new solo chapters, a new dungeon environment within the Pyramid of Egypt, new heroes, and a World Boss game mode which will allow players over level 50 server-wide asynchronous co-op boss battles. Whew!
Age of Empires has been a mainstay in the RTS world for almost 20 years now. Coming this March we’ll be able to enjoy it on our Android devices, as well. Microsoft studios has partnered with Smoking Gun interactive to deliver Age of Empires: Castle Siege. While it definitely sounds more in the vein of the rash of mobile war games, I’m hoping it will differentiate itself enough in game play to pay homage to the Franchise.
If you are looking to steal away a few minutes of time for a light bit of fun, then Pixel Jum’s mini-game Orphan is perfect for you. You play as an unnamed street urchin looking to reallocate funds from the wealthy to yourself in a pixelated Dickensian London. The game is extremely simple, you just need to scrap together enough money stolen from people for food for the day avoiding cops, thugs, and starvation.
