We dropped a few hints that this week would be a little crazy here at DroidGamers. Starting with the Modern Combat 3 giveaway and now working up for our Christmas Countdown giveaways where we will give away an Android Tegra 2 tablet every day starting today and ending with the last one on Friday. Today’s tablet is a Samsung Galaxy 10.1 16GB tablet!
There have been a lot of people waiting for the new addition into the Modern Combat series of games from Gameloft to be released and today is the official day of release for Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation. We have to admit, we sort of fibbed everyone when we said we didn’t know when it would be released, there is a good reason though!
A few people have asked me when we were going to announce the winners regarding the Zeemote giveaway we just had in partnership with DotEmu. We said we would announce who the winners are but then came to our senses as it was on a first come first serve basis.
We have a two fold story relating to Gameloft right now. The first, of course, is their holiday giveaways to celebrate Thanksgiving. Every day from now until Cyber Monday Gameloft will announce one title on their Gameloft Android Twitter account and a random time during the day. When they announce whatever game is free, you will have two hours to grab it for your Android device but that certainly isn’t all either!
DotEmu has announced that the classic arcade game that they have brought over to Android called R-Type is now compatible with the Zeemote JS1. The Zeemote is a bluetooth controller with an analog stick and four button in which you can map out depending on what game you’re playing.
So to celebrate the release of Shadowgun from Madfinger Games, and also the fact it was my birthday yesterday, we are teaming up with nVidia to give out another Power Pack prize package only this time we are packing it with an Asus Transformer and some other goodies for you to get some serious gaming done.
Gameloft likes to do sales and promotions and recently, over the past few months, have really stepped up the amount of promotions they have been doing. The newest one is set to arrive this weekend in the form of free games for your supported Android device.

Well we’ve contacted the winner and we were going to give them till Monday to respond in case they are on the East Coast and without power or in some funky time zone.
