The upcoming Mojo Android-powered game console by Mad Catz is nearing its official retail launch and it looks like it will be a little more appealing when it finally does go on sale thanks to Mad Catz and Nvidia working together to bring Nvidia’s GameStream technology to the console. While this feature most likely won’t make it in time for the console’s launch, it is planned for it to arrive in an update shortly afterwards.

PowerA has officially launched their new series of MOGA controllers from Android gamers to purchase. The MOGA Hero Power and the MOGA Power Pro game controllers are designed for gaming on the go and both feature the MOGA Boost technology which basically charges your phone while you are using either controller.

The company behind the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset has been teasing mobile support and mobile integration with the headset for some time now, even mentioning that there is an SDK in the works for mobile game developers to use. It is now confirmed that the Oculus Rift will be coming to Android and that Android users will also have their own headset.
As we near the end of this year we can expect Mad Catz to finally launch their Mojo Android-powered game console. Along with the console, Mad Catz already has a wide selection of peripherals available to use with it or any bluetooth enabled Android device. We can now add one more to the list and that being a new gaming keyboard called S.T.R.I.K.E.M.
It looks like there will soon be another option when it comes to picking out which controller you want to use from your mobile gaming needs. Evolution Controllers has put a Kickstarter campaign up for a new mobile gaming controller they have developed called the Drone.
New Nvidia Shield OTA arrives, brings with it Android 4.3, Gamepad Mapping and more big changes
Nvidia has been working hard on their Android gaming themed device called the Shield since it was originally released for public consumption. Since the device’s launch, Nvidia has pumped out some pretty solid software updates to boost performance and stability with the Shield but today’s new OTA update brings some big changes that make the Shield even better.
Ouya said, back before the console launched, that their Android-powered console would see new versions of it being released with updated hardware on a regular basis. The company did warn everyone that this would basically mean that a new console would be released every year or pretty much every year as long as their is a substantial upgrade in hardware to do.
MOGA has been working on a new controller that is vastly different from their current offerings. While the company’s previous controllers look and act more like console controllers, the new MOGA Ace Power is a lot different and looks similar to that of Phonejoy’s controller that is just hitting the market.
