There is a new game coming soon to Android that will let you live out your dreams of being a spy in real life, to a certain extent anyways. Agent Artemis, developed by The Unlikely Contender, is a location-based spy game where that uses the city you are in as the location of the game.

Ex-CEO of Mythic, Mark Jacobs, has decided to come out of a 2 year hiatus and open up a new game development studio called City State Entertainment which will specialize in casual games geared towards mobile platforms including Android and iOS. They even have one already in the works set for release in Q4 2011.

It is time for our weekly update about the upcoming MMORPG for Android called World of Midgard. We have been following the progress of this game for awhile now and the closed pre-beta, otherwise known as an alpha usually, is only three days away from starting!
With Star Legends about half way through it’s limited beta that is currently under way, lots of fixes and updates have been rolling out at a steady pace. A new update has just hit Star Legends though that brings plenty of fixes, changes and improvements to the game.
Storm8, if you don’t know who they are, are like Zynga in that they are a social casual game company but unlike Zynga, who is just getting into mobile gaming, Storm8 has been focused on the mobile gaming arena for awhile. Storm8 already has 8 titles available for free on the Android Market and today they are announcing three more.
Stardunk, developed by Gozilabs, is a massive multiplayer online basketball game where you compete against other people from around the world. A blend of Sports and MMO genres wrapped up in a futuristic theme, this has seen quite good success on iOS already with over 4 million downloads.
What appears to be one of the first major free-to-play MMORPG game portals to go mobile, Aeria Games has just announced that it has launched a mobile friendly version of their games portal. Not only that though, they have also announced that they are gearing up to break into the mobile gaming arena.
Bigpoint, one of the more major browser-based gaming companies out right now, can see the promise in mobile gaming and Android as well. They are planning to bring as many of their titles to Android in the near future which is great if you’ve ever played a Bigpoint game. All of their games are MMOs and generally high quality 3D graphics.
