The next installment into the Galaxy on Fire franchise will finally be seeing the light of day globally as Fishlabs has announced that their MMO game Galaxy on Fire: Alliances will be launching worldwide later this month. Grimwar is an action/adventure game that will be coming soon to Android by Silly Cat Studio, based in Paris, France. Players will be tasked with reaching the top of a tower, under the premise that you will be needed to clean house for some wizards that own (or stole) the tower in question by dealing with the likes of blobs of malicious jelly, skeletons, black knights, and presumably more, according to their video.
Flyhunter Origins is a game we reported on not too long ago back in July of this year. Developed by Steel Wool Games, in partnership with Riptide Publishing, Flyhunter Origins is Steel Wool’s first game release and if you happen to be living in Canada, you now have the ability to download the game before anyone else in what is basically a soft release.
Crescent Moon Games has published their newest title onto Android called Epic Dragons. Instead of being the enemy, like in a lot of games, the dragons are the victims in this title, being under attack from enemies who want to steal from these poor defenseless creatures.
EA has brought a new Sim City to Android in a title called Sim City BuildIt, currently now in a soft location-specific release. While this isn’t a full Sim City title in that it has every option and feature of its PC and console bethren, it does have a lot of gameplay available still including the actually city building elements, which is good since this is Sim City after all.
While I normally write much longer format reviews Wave Wave is a game that you’ll either throw aside in frustration within the first few minutes (perhaps seconds for some) or you’ll be hopelessly hooked on it with a fierce passion. Much like Super Hexagon, Super Meat Boy, or other titles designed for the masochistic perfectionist gamers (like me) out there, Wave Wave is simple as can be to control and understand.
A rather popular game on iOS is a game called Pixel People, published by Chillingo. It was released over a year ago for iOS and has been planned for an Android release since then. Now that is finally going to happen this month.
While we mostly stick to gaming on this site, we do also cover Android apps as well. This is, of course, as long as they are gaming related in some fashion, whether it be a companion app, guides, or in this case, an application meant for improving performance of your Android device. You can only game as good as your device is and that doesn’t just include hardware specs.
Just two weeks after having released a massive update to the venerable mobile hit, Fruit Ninja, Halfbrick Studios is at it again with yet another surprise up its sleeve: a Ghostbusters crossover! Right on time for Halloween and the Ghostbusters 30th anniversary celebration, Halfbrick has launched a themed update that adds all new weapons, animations and locations based on the beloved cinematic franchise.
OrangePixel’s sequel to their original Meganoid game has made the jump from Google Play to the Ouya console today. Meganoid 2 is the company’s rather challenging platformer that has been out on Android for a bit now and can finally be played natively on the Ouya console.
