Android Game Sale Round-Up: Radiant Games Birthday Sale, Earth and Legend and more

The sale gods have been quite busy this week, giving us android fanatics a lot to be excited about. This week features a ton more of games compared to the last 2 weeks’ listing. Highlighting this week’s round up: the 4th anniversary sale of Madfinger Games’ Samurai II: Vengeance, and the huge 86% off sale of the highly rated multiplayer RPG, Earth And Legend.  Developer Radiangames is also holding a 50% off sale for nearly all of their games listed on the Play Store to celebrate the dev’s birthday. There are many more games on sale including remakes of awesome strategy games from the past so definitely check that out as well.

[Updated] Debunking Tim Cook’s speech during WWDC 2014

Apple has a long history of antagonizing its competitors, be it the award winning “1984” Super Bowl commercial which depicts IBM as a totalitarian menace, the “Toasted” ad which ridicules Intel processors for being too slow, or the long running “Get a Mac” ad campaign which pit a svelt and witty Justin Long (“Mac”) against a frumpy and stodgy John Hodgman (“PC”). Given the aforementioned legacy, no one should be surprised when Apple takes jabs at Google and its Android operating system. What is surprising is watching Tim Cook get on stage at WWDC (World Wide Developers Conference) to spread misinformation.

NVIDIA Shield 2 spied on FCC website

There are many speculations and no real confirmations on when the next generation NVIDIA Shield console is going to release. Since NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang hinted on the next iteration of the console late in 2013, the android gaming community has been cracking up with rumors on the said device’s release date. Earlier this week, 2 FCC filing diagrams from the company surfaced and one of those may just be the Shield 2.

Madfinger Games celebrates 4th anniversary with a sale and Samurai II:Vengeance Enhanced Edition

Madfinger Games is celebrating their 4th birthday and in order to give back to Android gamers, the company is putting Samurai II: Vengeance on sale for $0.99 for a limited time. However it isn’t just the sale that you should be happy about. Samurai II: Vengeance also got updated with a variety of enhancements which Madfinger Games are labeling as making the game an ‘Enhanced Edition’.

Gameloft has some secret games they plan to reveal at E3 2014

Gameloft has quite the catalog of games heading our way right now with Modern Combat 5: Blackout and another untitled games they have been teasing that we recently reported on the other day. Rival Knights was another game they were teasing but that got released yesterday. Word on the proverbial street is that Gameloft has another 4-5 games tucked away right now that they plan to reveal during next week’s E3 2014.
