Yesterday Glu Mobile announced their upcoming line-up of freemium games coming to both Android and iOS platforms. Along with the announcement they also released a preview video that shows off these upcoming titles which are due out by the end of this year.
There is a new turret combat game on the Android Market for higher-end Android devices called Metal Rain. Developed by Adam Hammer, this game is just as you might imagine it to be and have probably played similar style games in the arcade back in the day.
HandyGames’ rather enjoyable, and somewhat humorous, Sokoban-style puzzle game called Aporkalypse – Pigs of Doom has been updated with a brand new chapter. This second chapter, and the update that contains it, brings new levels, new features and of course, plenty of bug fixes as well.
It looks like another string of hacked accounts on Gameloft’s MMORPG called Order & Chaos has happened once again. After pushing through some mild security improvements after the first security breach a couple of weeks ago, things had been rather quiet. That’s all changed over the last day or so.
The other day we reported on Princess Punt THD and how it briefly appeared in the Tegra Zone store then just as quickly disappeared. Then yesterday the fully compatible non-Tegra version got released and the THD Tegra 2 version was no where to be seen.
You may remember the other day we reported on a rather blatant clone of a couple of games combined into one title called Cut the Rope by Solverlabs. It took the gameplay mechanics from Fruit Ninja and the birds for Angry Birds and blended it into one rather bland clone.
Jelly Defense is a very nicely done tower defense game for Infinite Dreams. The graphics, sounds, and game play all add up to a great game and one to consider for your Android device. We’ve been playing it for awhile now and here is our review of Jelly Defense.
Way back in March of this year we reported on a FreeCiv project aimed at bringing the open source project over to Android. There is a new port now available from another developer that seems to be running pretty awesomely actually on Android devices.
Back in September we reported on a browser-based Tower Defense game called Age of Defenders that would be heading to Android soon. Well now the wait is over and it’s now available for your Android tablet to play and demolish other players in.
