Empty. began as Dustyroom Games’ entry into the Ludum Dare Game Jam challenge number 37. With the theme of “One Room,” they created an extraordinarily minimalistic and genuinely clever puzzle game, and the experimental game has come to Android devices.

If you’re looking for a breakout style game with a twist, maybe you should check out Orconoid. Orconoid at it’s core is a throwback to the breakout style games of the 80’s. It even has that retro look to it with 8bit graphics. Instead of bricks to break, you have to defeat waves of enemy orcs.
R2 Games has announced that they are currently working on getting their newest game out onto mobile devices in early 2017 called Heroes Evolved. This particular game is a MOBA title that was originally released for PC, but is now getting ported over to mobile with reworked controls and other mobile centric features.

Let me start by saying first of all, without a doubt, this has to be the cutest android game of 2016. Secondly, don’t for a second let the cuteness fool you. Because if you do, you will be watching ads until the next morning. This game is deceptively tough. Like any highly addictive drug, it perfectly skirts the line between frustration and “just one more.” Call me a glutton for punishment but i think, at the end of a crazy year, I have just found my new favorite game.
Pietoon Studios has released their first Android game onto Google Play called Poly Water. This particular game is actually a bit more of a relaxing style of endless arcade game. In Poly Water, players will be presented with the main character to control, which happens to be a little creature to starter off with. Eventually you will be able to unlock other characters and use those instead.
Recently, the interwebs have been abuzz about Nintendo having released their first game onto mobile, coming from a highly sought-after franchise; as Android users, we have felt the slight from Nintendo as it’s currently exclusive to iOS. As I have watched this story unfold from afar, there is a particular facet of it that has now caught my attention, as new information seems to have surfaced.
Spanish game developer Estudiofuture has launched the much-anticipated VR title, Fusion Wars, for the Samsung Gear store. Billed as a Multiplayer Combat Simulator the game features online co-op for up to 4 players, often tasked with combining their futuristic space combat tank into one powerful ultra-tank, in which pilots will split their roles to take the driving seat and handle the heavy weaponry of the turret.
Earth is being invaded by evil alien robots, and pitiful human technology cannot stop the mechanical assault. It’s up to you, a colossal cetacean, to thwart this nefarious onslaught by racking up the highest score possible.
[Update: Game Released] Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location looks to be getting a mobile version soon
Fans of the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise may have another game to sink their time into in the near future. Scott Cawthon, the developer behind the franchise, originally announced FNAF: Sister Location for PC, with no real mention of a mobile version back then. However, it appears that he’s been working on a mobile version as it look like the mobile version is getting closed to being released.
