There is a new game coming soon to Android that will let you live out your dreams of being a spy in real life, to a certain extent anyways. Agent Artemis, developed by The Unlikely Contender, is a location-based spy game where that uses the city you are in as the location of the game.
You may recognize the name PixoFactor but if not, that’s okay. While they only have a couple of titles available on the Android Market, those couple of titles are actually pretty decent games. They have a new game under development however called Gaslight.
When Minecraft started to get really big for the PC, similar style games started to appear on the PC and other platforms. The same can be said for Android now as first we had MineBuilder and now we have Steincraft which looks pretty good already.
Once in awhile a strange game will land on the Android Market that people will either love to play or dislike, there is no in between. One such game is Shave Me! and now we have another title to slide into the category called iDragPaper which is based off the joys of unrolling toilet paper.
There is a new line racing game in town called Hard Lines published by Jakyl and developed by Spilt Milk Studios. You may be familiar with the name Jakyl considering they have some pretty high quality 3D games available on the Android Market already. This is one of their more popular iOS titles and now it’s available for us to play.
2D Boy has announced today that their popular game, World of Goo, will be heading to Android in the very near future. Apparently this has been in the works for some time as the Android version, GooDroid, is already in the final stages of testing and bug fixes.
Following up on the news of The Silent Age coming to Android, House of Fire has a second titles gearing up for release called Neon Zone. This is a physics-based puzzle game where you solve each stage by tilting your device, or bumping it, in order to move a block around to collect the glowing dots.
House of Fire is developing a great looking game for Android (and iOS) called The Silent Age that is heading our way soon. Described as a minimalist point-and-click game, you will be traveling through time between present day and 1971 to solve puzzles.
Ex-CEO of Mythic, Mark Jacobs, has decided to come out of a 2 year hiatus and open up a new game development studio called City State Entertainment which will specialize in casual games geared towards mobile platforms including Android and iOS. They even have one already in the works set for release in Q4 2011.
