This is quite the beastly Android phone where LG has gone and switched out from using a Tegra chipset, which they used in their LG G2X, and have gone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset which makes this a quad-core phone running at 2.26GHz.
Bouncing over to a little hardware news right now, rumors of an LG device that would soon be arriving with a Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core chip have been confirmed in a statement released by Qualcomm today. The Qualcomm APQ8064 processor will indeed be arriving in an upcoming LG smartphone later this year.
