Yesterday Nvidia held their yearly press conference where they generally announce their new graphics cards for PC gaming and other goodies which does include some mobile related stuff as well. This year, aside from the ridiculous $3000 video card that was announced, Nvidia also let out that Valve’s game Portal will be coming to their portable gaming system the Shield.

The Mount & Blade franchise of games is currently available for PC gamers to enjoy but that is all changing today as Nvidi and Taleworld Entertainment have unleashed Mount & Blade: Warband onto Android. The joyful chaos that is this franchise is indeed ow playable on Android, complete with all the multiplayer madness that you would be hoping for.
We’ve reported on this rather unique title from Mediocre Games a couple of times in the past but we didn’t have a ton of information regarding it at that time. We just knew it was going to be minimalistic in style, have a great soundtrack, and that it would definitely be different from what Mediocre Games usually releases.
Nvidia has announced that they have brought LTE to their Tegra NOTE tablet family in the form of a new one called the Nvidia Tegra NOTE 7 LTE. This new version of the company’s tablet isn’t a whole lot different from the regular Tegra NOTE 7 device aside from the one major addition of LTE support.
Nvidia’s CEO Jen-Hsun Huang was speaking yesterday during their quarterly earnings call and announced the company’s intention to focus on what they call ‘superphones’ when it comes to their Tegra chips. What the company isn’t interested in deal with are mainstream phones and tablets, only the ones that fall into the ‘super’ category.
