It seems more and more companies are coming out to throw their weight behind the unit by supporting it with content for when it launches. The OnLive game streaming service is already available for Android devices thanks to their application on Google Play. It is also starting to become available pre-installed on some Google TVs as well such as the LG Smart TV (G2 series) via a future software update and the VISO Co-Star. However, that leaves other Google TV owners without OnLive but that will soon be changing.
OnLive has fired up an Easter Sale where you can get a selection of games that you can stream to any of your devices for up to 75% the price of a lifetime pass. Basically what this means is that once you buy a lifetime pass for a game, you can stream it to any device you own for an unlimited amount of time, as long as OnLive is online.
Sega last week released eleven Sega Genesis console titles onto OnLive for people to enjoy, two games today and have even more planned for the future as well. While most OnLive users on Android won’t be able to play these using a touch screen, Xperia Play owners and gamers who have the Universal Remote gamepad will be able to enjoy these games.
