Well here is some interesting and somewhat troubling news that was just pointed out to us. According to Fortune CNN, HTC could be facing a possible import ban here in the U.S. depending on the outcome of an appeal over two patent that Apple is going after HTC for.

It seems this is a busy week for Lodsys as more and more developers are coming out to reveal that they have received the patent infringement welcome package from Lodsys over the last couple of days. Newest one to add to the list is Micabyte and their game Pirates and Traders.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock lately then you’ve probably heard about Lodsys and their patent trolling ways. More and more Android developers are receiving their friendly patent infringement ‘welcome package’, as we like to call it, and Google has remained rather silent… until now.
You may have thought the the whole Lodsys patent trolling excitement had died but actually we have been collecting names of developers and working in the background over the whole Lodsys patent infringement suits hitting Android developers. A new one added to the list is Rovio.
It’s Thursday, June 30th, bright and early in the morning and we have another developer who has come forward that on Monday they received the same patent infringement threat package that two other developers have already received. That is three in one week for those keeping track.
Coming to light yesterday are some pretty interesting patents filed by Apple regarding gaming, specifically multiplayer gaming in what appears to be a mesh of augmented reality and FPS gaming. It all meshes together using services such as location finding, a way to shoot your enemies which will register on their phone and more.
