One of the more anticipated Virtual Reality headsets heading our way is the HTC Vive. Following the example that Oculus Rift has done, HTC has announced when pre-orders will be going live, but haven’t announced what the price will be for said pre-orders.
Each year at CES we get to sit down with our friends at Mad Catz to check out their newest offerings for the mobile gaming world. Last year it was the L.Y.N.X series of controllers, which are rather cool indeed. This year they will have those available as well as some new mobile goodies in the form of controllers specifically designed for Samsung smartphones and tablets.
With Christmas and New Years over for 2015, and being a few days into a fresh new year, this can only mean one thing and that is its time for CES 2016. Razer has announced that their Cortex store is in its new and improved form as of today. The Cortex store features all of the Android games that Razer took on from their purchase of the now defunct Ouya marketplace as well. Not all of the games made it from the Ouya marketplace, but most of them did.

Previously part of Google until the company restructured into Alphabet, Niantic Labs is responsible for the rather popular location-based game Ingress, and the upcoming Pokemon GO game in partnership with Nintendo and The Pokemon Company. Things seem to be going good for Niantic Labs as they have quietly opened up a new studio over in Japan.

Black Friday is well under way now and depending on what you’re looking for, there’s probably a deal for it to be found. Amazon has been holding their Black Friday sales all week, making for a sort of Black Fri-week sale instead. Of course the bulk of their best deals are today. This will be a constantly updating list of some of the best Black Friday deals going on at different retailers.
Today’s DroidGamers Deal is for a rather neat Bluetooth controller called the SNES30. This particular controller is an exact replica of the original SNES controllers from back in the day, right down to the controller’s actual size and everything. For a Bluetooth controller, this has quite a few nifty features as well.
