Angry Birds developers, Rovio, announced today via Facebook that they will indeed be bringing Angry Birds Rio over to the Android Market. While this version of the game will be free to whoever wants it, you can expect to see ads inside. This is because the ad-free version will be remaining exclusive to the Amazon App Store.

At little bit of a revelation has come out regarding Angry Birds Rio which is set to be released onto Android later this month. In a bit of a twist to the usual gameplay of saving the eggs from pigs, this version won’t have any eggs to save nor will it have any pigs. Instead, just some very angry birds and animals to save.

A few days ago we reported on the next Angry Birds Seasons update that will be pushed into the game. This was to be themed around St. Patrick’s Day and all the luck of the Irish including pots of gold to help boost your score. Well the wait is over and the St. Patty’s Day update is not live on the Android Market for all to enjoy!
Well it seems as though Rovio isn’t wanting to wait for in-game purchases to be fully integrated into their game via their Bad Piggy Bank. Instead they are going to be releasing a new version of Angry Birds without ads for a small price. According to a tweet, Rovio will have this ready within a month’s time, right near the Rio version’s launch.

This time around it is for Valentine’s Day which we have been reporting on for awhile now and it is available for download. This update to Seasons features 15 levels with three unlockables and of course, some special Golden Eggs!
Angry Birds just got an update which features a new zone called “Ham ’em High” which includes 30 new levels in a desert/western theme. Also included in this update will be the secret level you’ll be able to find (hopefully) while watching the Super Bowl tomorrow and possibly win a trip to the premiere of Rio.

During this commercial there will be a secret code people can find that will give them access to a hidden level in Angry Birds.
