Annelids, developed by Michael Srb, was released onto the Play Store to generally positive reception some time ago. I’m here today to briefly recap on the game and discuss the recent update. Although it’s titled “Christmas Update”, this brings some very welcome permanent multiplayer love.

The Christmas Android Game Sale Round-Up: Lots and lots of Android games on sale this holiday season
Usually we do our weekly round-up of Android games on sale each Friday, but while this week’s list is on a Friday, it is probably the biggest list of Android games on sale that we have seen in some time. It’s even bigger than last year’s list, or looks like it is. This list contains all the games on sale right now for a limited time, not including the previous articles earlier this week on other games going on sale. Those, however, will still be linked in here for easier access.
GoNNER is a newly released platformer, with some rogue like elements. In this game, players will be assuming the role Ikk, whose friend is a beached whale named Sally. In oder to try and make Sally happy, Ikk will descend into deep and dark places, in search of trinkets that will make her happy. She shows up from time to time within the game, and will restore Ikk’s health, as a token of said friendship.
Capcom apparently decided to follow up their news from the other day regarding the upcoming release of the original Megaman 1-6 games for mobile devices. If you missed this news, Capcom announced that they will be porting over the first six Megaman games to mobile devices. Each one will be sold individually.
Capcom has always had a love/hate relationship for mobile games. On one hand, they love releasing mobile games on iOS, but for some reason it seems they hate to do the same for Android. It seems Capcom is finally giving Android a real chance, as the first 6 games from the Blue Bomber’s 8-bit era are coming to Android in January of 2017. This isn’t the first time Megaman has seen a mobile device.
Developer Esayitch released his throwback platformer this week, “Tower of the Wizard”. It’s an easy-playing homage to the Nintendo Gameboy side-scrollers of the early 90’s. The game is done in an 8-bit style which we’ve all become very accustomed to seeing on the play store lately.
Who knew cute little cubes could jump? They most definitely can in Microcube, a new endless runner from Beijing publisher ZPLAY. Endless jumper would be a more appropriate description, as jumping is exactly how you will be guiding your tiny hexahedron friend through a never-ending, side-scrolling world.
Goodnight Games has been working on their next title, called Malevolent Machines, for a bit now and have already released the game’s first teaser trailer. Today we have another video that gives more of a previous to the gameplay, as well as a closer look at your character’s second attack move.
Picture it. You have finished eating with your entire family. Your mother has already griped about how you could live your life better, your great aunt Hilda has mentioned that you look like you’ve lost some weight and maybe your kids have driven you nuts during the entire dinner. You are full and want time alone to just relax. How do you do that? By enjoying some you time, yes, some game play.
Back in September 2016 we reported on a new game coming from Goodnight Games, the folks behind the Ernie versus Evil game, called Malevolent Machines. Back it our previous coverage there wasn’t a whole lot of details about this upcoming game, and there still isn’t much, but we do have the teaser trailer now to check out.
