Companion toys are not really new anymore when it comes to mobile gaming. Nintendo has their Amiibo toys, Skylanders have theirs, and even Rovio has toys that you place near your Android device of choice in order to unlock a character in the game for you to use. Spin Masters have taken this idea and expanded on it by making the toys your scan into the game have their own stats, abilities, and so on but allowing them to be customizable by swapping out parts and adding new ones.

So far Hearthstone has received one adventure-style update based around Naxxramas from World of Warcraft called the Curse of Naxxramas. Now there is a second one coming our way soon and this time it is based off of Blackrock Mountain. In fact the name of this adventure update is exactly that, Blackrock Mountain.

TellTale Games has released a new trailer for their Tale from the Borderlands series which showcases the next episode that will be arriving soon. This will be the second episode in the series, called Atlas Mugged, and will be arriving this month. Now you can take a peek at what to expect with Episode 2 thanks to this new trailer.
The Game Developer’s Conference (GDC for short) is a great event to go to in order to see games that are heading our way in both the near future as well as projects currently being worked on that won’t be coming out for awhile. Redux Ark by Hyper Games falls into the latter category as it is still in early development.
The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild is the indie developer that previously made The Bridge, a black and white puzzle game. This time around they are back for another puzzle game, one of a more colorful variety, titled Tumblestone.

Nvidia held their big press event at GDC 2015 and the company had been hinting at a big announcement, stating it was five years in the making. Everyone had their guesses as to what this would be, with a lot of people pointing to VR as being the announcement. We actually guessed it would be a console in a previous article. When the event began, the CEO of Nvidia Jen-Hsun Huang, came out and told everyone right away that he had three things to announce: a new revolutionary TV, a new super computer, and a new console. Turns out, it wasn’t three devices, it was just one.
A game about building spaceships, and then being betrayed and having to leave said spaceship is coming to Android (along with iOS). Titled Defect SDK (SDK stands for Spaceship Destruction Kit and not what you thought it meant) the game is mainly a single player affair, though it does allow players to share ship designs online.
Paradox Interactive have announced that they will be releasing a sequel to their very popular RPG title called the Knights of Pen & Paper. Officially titled Knights of Pen & Paper 2, this game brings the role of playing a tabletop RPG back to Android. If you are not familiar with this franchise, it is definitely one of the more interesting ones out there.
Kemco releases a lot of games onto Google Play, most of which are retro-style JRPGs. One of their more popular titles is Alphadia Genesis and today the company has released a sequel to that game, officially titles Alphadia Genesis 2. This new Alphadia game continues the story where the first game left off and doesn’t stray too far from the original game’s style as well.
