While we don’t normally do public service announcements, in light of the recent Android Market change regarding the refunding time which is now 15 minutes, we feel it is more necessary now. There is a version of Cut The Rope, smash hit iOS physics game, on the Android market by a developer called AppVision. This is NOT the real Cut the Rope.

D20Studios developed a little game you have probably never heard of or even seen. Called Hero Mages, it just won at the indiePUB awards for Technical Excellence. Table-top RPG fans will probably enjoy this the most although anyone who likes turn-based strategy games or RPGs could also appreciate this neat little title.
Vegas City is a simulation game where you can create your own Las Vegas strip complete with casinos, resorts, high rollers and more. Developed by Digital Chocolate and originally released onto Facebook, Vegas City is slated to come to Android in the near future. Soon you’ll be able to become filthy rich, in-game anyways.
It is no secret that PopCap has been late to release anything for Android even though they were one of the first to mention Android support when Flash was announced. However, you can still get your Plants vs Zombies fix thatnks to developers Gzorz with their game, Leave Devil Alone, which is a top quality clone of the popular PopCap game.
Mix physics gameplay, Lemmings style gaming, and an Angry Birds-like user interface elements and what do you get? SheepRun! Developed by the curiously named FingerFantasy, SheepRun looks like it would have been developed by Rovio due to the user interface; however, similarities end there in this unique game.
Sifting through the Android Market as I usually do in the mornings, looking for new games to try out, I noticed one called Androminion. At first I wasn’t going to take a look at it but for whatever reason I decided otherwise. Developed by Ankur Mehta, Androminion is the Android version of the award winning strategy card game, Dominion.
There isn’t a whole lot in the way of RTS games for Android right now and even out of the ones available, even fewer are actually good. Off the top of my head I can only think of 3 good ones. Looks like I might be adding a forth one to that list thanks to GameResort’s slick looking RTS game called Castle Warriors which recently arrived onto the Android market.
Do you love tower defense games? If you do then Guns’n’Glory is definitely a game you should pick up. This game is tower defense from a Wild, Wild West perspective. Settlers are moving into your turf and they are brining money with them. So it’s your job to liberate them of that heavy burden and to use the money you “earn” to increase the size of your gang.
Any iPhone user should have heard of Doodle Jump, and now every Android user should hear of the name Abduction! 2. This new game by Psym Mobile offers the same simplistic joy of jumping as high as you can, and also throws in a storyline (more of a objective type system) where you can save your cute animal friends and get to the goal in record time.
