There is a new turn-based strategy war game available for Android gamers called Sword of the Stars: Ground Pounders. Developed by Kerberos Productions, this game is actually up on Kickstarter looking for funding so the developers can finish the game. Unlike a lot of Kickstarter campaigns where you usually don’t have a demo or early build of the game to check out before deciding whether or not your want to pledge money to the developers, Sword of the Stars: Ground Pounders is available to play right now.

The Magic 2014 – Duels of the Planeswalkers expansion has arrived, lots of new cards to collect
A couple of weeks ago it was announced that Magic 2014 – Duels of the Planeswalkers would be getting its first expansion in the near future. Well that ‘near future’ has ended up being today as the expansion for Magic 2014 has made its way to Android and features plenty of new cards for you to collect and build new decks with.
11 Bit Studios is getting close to releasing their upcoming tower offense game Anomaly 2 and in order to ensure that the game runs smoothly on as many devices as possible, the company has developed a new benchmarking app and is offering it up to everyone for free in order to help test and prepare the game for launch.
The world of MOBA games looks to continue its advancement into the mobile gaming scene as a new title is currently under development called Fates Forever. Currently we have a couple of titles in this genre already available to us. One is from Gameloft called Heroes of Order and Chaos while another is a bit different of a style of MOBA gaming called Champs: Battlegrounds.
The second game Ubisoft has announced today is an interesting new stand-alone game for the Assassin’s Creed franchise called Assassin’s Creed Pirates. This particular game is more of a Action-Strategy game with some management mechanics layered onto it.
Bohemia Interactive recently released Arma: Tactics onto Android for Tegra 3 and Tegra 4 devices during the launch of Nvidia’s Shield handheld gaming system recently. Well the company has finally decided to drop the Tegra exclusivity now and the game is available for non-Tegra Android tablets.
One game we’ve talked about already a few times in the past is the squad-based tactical strategy game Breach & Clear. The other week we announced that the game would finally be arriving on September 5th, 2013 and that would be today. Sure enough the game has finally arrived right on time and is now available for purchase.
DeNA has announced that their TCG called Transformers: Legends will be getting weekly episodic updates through this month. Each week will be new episodes of content which will be released as an update. There is a lot of content on the way including a new PvP multiplayer episode to try out.
A few weeks ago during Gamescom 2013 we talked about a new TCG that would be making its way to Android soon that features the Star Wars universe. Well this new TCG, called Star Wars: Force Collection, has now officially launched onto Google Play for all to download.
Today we have word of another Steam game that will most likely be making its way to mobile devices as well. Door Kickers by KillHouse Games is currently available in a limited access edition on Steam while the team continues to work on the game. This particular game is an RTS title with 2D visuals and gameplay similar to that of Frozen Synapse.
