We are not going to go over all the accessories available for the Samsung Galaxy Tablet that is slated to be released as soon as next month here in the USA. A few months ago we reported on the Atmel maXTouch sensors which we heading into the world of Android inside the Samsung Galaxy S line of phones. These sensors recognize an unlimited amount of touches and have a much better responsiveness while keeping power consumption low which all combine for some great multi-touch gaming on Android.
VDCC (Verizon Developer Community Conference) was fairly interesting on a few levels. First we found more proof that indeed Unreal Engine is heading for Android. Secondly, Asokan Thiyagajan who is the Director of Platforms & Technology Strategy for Samsung inadvertently revealed more details about the upcoming Samsung Tablets. Yes that is plural.
Samsung has announced that they are reaching out to developers on the android market to improve existing applications to work with the higher resolution screen in their newest product, the Galaxy Tab. Samsung also say that soon the tablet will be receiving Android 3.0 Gingerbread which should be better suited to 3D gaming and have a more tablet friendly user interface.
