The recently leaked Xperia Tablet that will be coming from Sony has been officially announced during Sony’s press event as IFA 2012 starts up today. The 9.4″ Tegra 3 quad-core tablet was leaked out back in July of this year and looked pretty promising back then. Now we have a full rundown of the specs it will be coming with.

Archos is looking to take a piece of the Android gaming pie, at least in terms of hardware, and in the process will end up being the direct competitor of the Wikipad gaming tablet with Archos’ newly announced GamePad tablet. This Ice Cream Sandwich powered tablet will feature a full set of gaming controls, attached to either side of the tablet.

Bigger really does mean better for the folks at Toshiba. The company recently announced a few new tablets that will be released starting in May. Well here is something right out of left field this morning. Apparently HTC will be working on Playstation certified Android devices this year, at least according to sources that has confirmed this in a report by Pocket-Lint.
