Two new games have quietly dropped onto the Android Market that will definitely take advantage of that high-end Android device you have sitting near you. Beware of the Bad Seed, released March 21st, and No Gravity, released today, are two game that take advantage of the latest hardware in your Android device.

Samsung announces two new tablets at CTIA. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 and 8.9, both have dual-core and Honeycomb.
Samsung just got finished with their Unpacked event over at CTIA and have announced two new tablets coming our way very soon, summer in fact. The Galaxy Tablet 8.9 and the Galaxy Tablet 10.1 will be heading into our hands this summer with some seriously good pricing to top it all off. Oh, did we mention they are dual-core?
T-Mobile G2X dual-core Android phone officially announced. First to come pre-loaded with Tegra Zone.
The T-Mobile version of the Optimus 2X by LG was rumored to be coming and was even spotted in a picture as booths were being set up at CTIA. Well it has now been officially announced with the name G2X which was recently leaked as well. This will be T-Mobile’s first dual-core Android phone and also the first to come pre-loaded with nVidia’s Tegra Zone app.
Earlier this year during CES 2011 we got to get a little up close and personal with the upcoming Toshiba dual-core Android tablet. This was also one of our top choices back then for Tegra 2 Android tablets and it still is to this day. Between the look, the nice back grip and just overall hardware, it is definitely a solid tablet.
Yes, even after a week of posting since GDC 2011 ended, we still have news we are posting although we are nearing the end of everything we need to post from GDC. There are a few Tegra 2 games on the horizon that haven’t really been mentioned yet that we spotted lazing around on some demo devices.
HyperDevBox’s first game was a mean looking arcade shooter called ExZeus which featured all the things you could want in a flying shooter such as OTS (over-the-shoulder) point of view, flying robots, big weapons, big bosses and big action. What is pretty impressive though was the game only required an extra 57MB download after install.
Tegra Zone, which is nVidia’s marketplace to buy/download Tegra 2 optimized games for your Android devices that have a Tegra 2 inside them, seems to be the source of an interesting bit of information. While we had planned to post this yesterday, we were waiting to find out some other information regarding this first.
A lot of people have been waiting to get their hands on the Android version of Vendetta Online and now the wait is over. Before you get all excited though, there are a few requirements that need to be met. First you’ll need a Tegra 2 tablet, but we already knew that. Secondly, it has to be 7″ screen size or bigger.

Unigine is a 3D game engine that, up until recently, was strictly for Windows/Linux/PS3. Now it supports Android game development with future mobile platforms to be supported in the future. It is nice to see a game engine jump onto Android first when regarding mobile game development, then other platforms later.
