Ah yes, one of those generic ‘mobile’ type of announcements but considering who it is from, there is a good chance that Android will be one of the platforms to get the new mobile version of the Total War series from The Creative Assembly and Sega.

Konami, who occasionally graces the Android Market with games, has released another title onto the market which is a retro-style RPG called Ash. Apparently this particular game has done quite well for itself over on iOS and Konami has decided to bring it to Android as well.
Back in August 2011 we talked about a neat game that would be making it’s way to Android called SQUIDS. Developed by The Game Bakers, SQUIDS is a blend of turn-based tactical strategy gaming with RPG elements mixed into it. The good news is, it is now on the Android Market.
Sega’s Fallen Realms RPG for Android has gotten a rather large update today for Valentine’s Day. You can now share the love of Valentine’s Day but kicking people’s asses in a new PvP battle arena but that is just one feature this new update brings to the game.
It has been a little bit since we have done a Hidden Gem article and even though some of these indie games we talk about could fit into that category, there is one new title this month that warrants it right now and it is called Arenas Trail of Valor by EmeryOnGames.
One of the better turn-base strategy games available for Android has just gotten a little bigger today. Rubicon has released a sequel to the original called Great Little War Game: All Out War onto the Android Market and boasts “fiendishly challenging levels”.
Back in November 2011 we got to get some hands-on time with ngmoco’s upcoming RPG called Skyfall. At that point it was also gearing up for a closed beta round of testing which we gave away 500 invites for. Now the beta is going to a live Private Beta status.
Every so often we get a week where a lot of what we report on is about games making their way to Android in the near future. It’s Monday and it already is shaping up to be one of those weeks. Another game that will be making the jump to Android soon is Dungeon Crawlers.
Fully titled Call of Cthulhu: The Wasted Lands test, indie developers Red Wasp Design is planning to bring their new title over to multiple platforms in the near future including Android. As you may have guessed, this game is based off the works of H.P. Lovecraft’s series of novels from the 1920s.
D20 Studios developed this gem of a game and it’s pretty under-the-radar. I don’t think I would have even known about this game if DroidGamers hadn’t mentioned it before I started homing my blogging craft (which is very much a work in progress). So I decided to take the game for a spin, and I’m absolutely glad I did.
