SEGA has announced that Sonic Runners will be dashing onto Android devices this week. Up until now, Sonic Runners has been available in select regions during a sort of soft launch period, and by select regions we mean Japan. That will, however, be changing in the next couple of days.

TOAST has announced that pre-registration for their upcoming Action-RPG title Guardian Stone is now live as of today, allowing for future players to sign up for the game now in order to receive in-game rewards when this game officially launches. This game recently had a closed beta testing phase which seemed to have gone pretty good, now that the game is nearing release.
Nexon M had a couple of game related items to announce at E3 2015, one of which being the earlier news this morning regarding the Industrial Age update for their city building multiplayer strategy game DomiNations. The other was a whole new game called Beasts vs Bots, which is a multiplayer RTS game that is heading to Android.
There seems to be a lot of partnership going on over the past couple of months between game developers, all of which is to work on big new mobile games. Today a new partnership has been announced between Chimera Entertainment and Deep Silver FISHLABS where the two companies will work together on a brand new AAA mobile game.
Originally announced and shown off during this year’s E3 2015, tinyBuild Games has put a release time frame onto their upcoming Tycoon style of game called Punch Club. For those of you not familiar with this game, Punch Club brings the retro visual styling that games from back in the day had, mixes it up together with a sim/tycoon type of game, adds some boxing into the mix, and for good measure, you’ll need to eventually find out who killed your father.
Seasun Entertainment has decided to expand their reach into the Western market with the release of a new turn-based strategy MOBA called Relics of Gods, which will be heading to Android in the near future. Relic of Gods was shown off at E3 2015 and is all about the team-based combat, although done in a slightly different way.
One game that a lot of current and future Shield Android TV owners are looking forward to happens to be the upcoming Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel game. Albion Online is a MMORPG a lot of people are looking forward to play. It was originally announced that the PC MMORPG would be coming to multiple platforms including Android and iOS last year and since then the game developers have been hard at work making sure everything runs smoothly. This game actually had a brief closed alpha testing period a little while ago (earlier this year), making this Summer Alpha the second time the game has opened up to the public.
LEGO has announced today that their upcoming LEGO Minifigures Online game will be featuring full cross-platform support, which includes mobile devices, and will be officially arriving next week. That means players on all platforms (PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android) will be sharing the same persistent online world with people on different platforms at the same time.
The venerable survival genre is nearly as old as gaming itself, dating back at least to Oregon Trail and survival modes in tower defense games. For a substantial period of time, Japanese survival horror games nearly became synonymous with the entirety of the genre. These days, fleeing from monsters still dominates the genre thanks to games such as Left 4 Dead, Day Z and Slender Man.
