The other news regarding Pokemon GO yesterday, about the 100 new 2nd generation Pokemon making their appearance on December 8th, seems to have either been off or has changed. The chances are, since this will arrive as an update, that it is the latter of the two options and Niantic has decided to change when they are arriving because of the leaked Starbucks document.

Yesterday we reported that Sprint was teaming up with Niantic Labs for a press event for this morning regarding Pokemon GO. Considering each company’s Chief Executive (Sprint’s Chief Executive, Marcelo Claure, and Niantic’s Chief Executive, John Hanke) was making an appearance, we figured this would be a rather large announcement. So was it? Well kind of.
For those of you who happen to be playing the clicker style game called Final Taptasy, Nanoo Company has pushed out a decent sized content update today, bumping the version number officially to 2.0. This particular game is a mesh between a clicker and a retro RPG type of game.
In a double-header of Pokemon GO news, it appears that Niantic Labs has teamed up with Sprint for… something. What this may actually end up being remains to be seen, but we won’t have to wait long to find out what’s going on with the two companies, as they are planning to hold a join press conference tomorrow.
A couple of months ago Twitch bought Curse, which started off as a communication suite for gamers to use while in game but has since expanded greatly in what that platform provides. Since then the team at Twitch has been working on integrating Curse’s suite of communication tools into its platform, and now it looks like video calling has finally arrived for Twitch. To start, it is now available for desktop users, but mobile support is in the works.
If you’re a fan of Marvel’s Puzzle Quest, or just about live-action adaptations of things like video games, then you’ll probably want to check out this new video from D3 GO! which is a live-action adaptation of the above mentioned game, Marvel Puzzle Quest. This particular video is actually an extended cut of a commercial for the game that was also just released.
Blizzard held a live stream earlier this morning and during that stream the company revealed the launch date for the upcoming Mean Streets of Gadgetszan update for Hearthstone. This content update will feature 132 new cards, many of which are themed around Gadgetzan in some way, as well as other Gadgetzan related content to play through.
[Update: Now Live] Square Enix will be pushing out a pretty big update for Deus Ex GO later this week with the Puzzle Maker
Our friends over at Square Enix have sent over word that they will be pushing out a new content update for Deus Ex GO later this week. The update will add a very big feature to the game that was actually announced to be in development back during E3 2016. What feature is this? It is the Puzzle Maker.
We recently reported on some datamined goodness with Pokemon GO that revealed the game would be getting 100 new 2nd generation Pokemon in an update coming soon. However there is one 1st generation Pokemon that has yet to be found, and that is Ditto. This, however, has changed. Ditto is now available for trainers to find and collect, but there’s a catch to getting one.
[Update: Sale Price Live] Lumines: Puzzle & Music gets two new DLCs available with music from Rez and End of the World
Fans of Lumines: Puzzle & Music has a couple of new DLC packs available to check out as of today. Each pack is themed around music from a particular game or musical group, in this case it is Rez and End of the World. In total both DLC packs add 11 new tracks to the game for players to listen to and play in Lumines.
