The first-ever Vainglory World Championships happened this weekend where the top 12 teams from around the world took to the stage to battle it out for top honors. The entire event was streamed live on Twitch of course, and after all was said and done, Phoenix Armada from Korea came out on top, being the first world champions for Vainglory.

Vainglory has received its newest update, which pushes the version number to 1.23, and brings with it a new hero, the Fall map, and more. Additionally, for any of you out there who are skin collectors, there are some new ones making their debut with this update as well.
Super Evil Megacorp has pushed out another update which brings with it another new hero, making this the second hero within a month being added to Vainglory. Last month Samuel was added to the Vainglory hero roster, and this month we see another new hero called Baron making his debut as well.
The popular mobile MOBA game Vainglory got updated today to version 1.21 and with this update comes the debut of a new hero for players to use, new skins for a few heroes, as well as an additional set of quests that are divided up into four different types: Daily, Hero, Sequences and Community.
Vainglory has done quite well for itself since its release, becoming one of the main titles in the mobile eSports arena with some teams even getting sponsorship like normal eSports teams. Starting this week is the new Winter season series of matches and along with that, Super Evil Megacorp has also released a new hero called Reim.
The North American Autumn finals for the rather popular mobile MOBA title Vainglory took place last weekend, with a prize pool for the season of over $200,000 up for grabs. Taking place at the eSports Arena in Santa Ana, California, Liberation X battled through three days of matches, ending up in a showdown on the final day against Nemesis Hydra. Eventually Liberation X would defeat Nemesis Hydra and take home a cool $10,000.
Super Evil Megacorp has released a new update for their popular mobile MOBA title Vainglory, bringing the game’s version to 1.9. Aside from some new additions to the game, the 1.9 update also is the start of the new Autumn eSports Season for Vainglory teams as well.
Each week in Vainglory six heroes are swapped out with six new ones which are made available to play for free. This week’s rotation features Skaarf, Saw, Fortress, Glaive, Ringo, and Koshka, making for a rather well-rounded mix of characters for new players to try out.
With Vainglory having been out now for a few weeks, we swung by the Twitch booth to meet up with Super Evil Megacorp, the developers behind the mobile MOBA game Vainglory. We sat down to talk with them to see how the game has been doing since its launch onto Android, and what future plans they may have for Vainglory in general.
Earlier today we announced that Vainglory had been updated a few days early with the extra special version 1.6 update. This is the update that finally brings official Android support to the game. So now all of you who have been waiting for this game to leave its beta for Android can now play. We’ve been playing for awhile in the beta and it is quite the fun game, although you can expect our full review now that it is officially out to come shortly.
