It is about that time again for another episode of “This Week in World of Midgard” update! As you may be expecting already, as we get closer to the launch of the closed beta, more and more videos are being released. So much so that we have to be selective now.

Well there have been plenty of new additions to the videos that World of Midgard developers release to show off new mobs and bosses that will be in this MMORPG for Android. We missed last weeks round-up so here is everything new about all things World of Midgard from last week till now.
This week in World of Midgard development news contains a few more videos. We have two videos of two more bosses in-game, which there seems to be a lot of although we aren’t complaining. We also have a walkthrough of another dungeon as well so sit back and relax and enjoy the videos.
Last week we saw a few videos which showcased some bosses and mobs that will be in World of Midgard, the 3D MMORPG coming to Android soon. Currently waiting for the closed beta to start, World of Midgard looks a lot like the more ‘realistic’ MMORPGs such as Guild Wars and RIFT.
FRAPS is a program for PC users that runs in the background and records, in real time, footage of whatever game you are playing so long as you hit whatever key you assigned to “record”. As an Android gaming site, we have to wonder, why has this not been created for mobile users?
Sony Ericsson drops two new promo videos for the Xperia Play. Not as strange as the first two batches.
Sony Ericsson must have hired a few people to sit around and think up ideas for strange, weird, disturbing or cool promotional videos for the Xperia Play. So far, after the sweatshop videos and the Kristen Schaal videos, they seem to be pretty on point with the strange and disturbing side of things. Looks like the new ads are shooting for cool next.

Alright well maybe it isn’t a ‘satanic’ message when one of the videos is played backwards but it is pretty freaky nonetheless. Sony Ericsson, however, is continuing with the tradition they have created with releasing more slightly disturbing promo videos for the Xperia Play. Of course this makes us happy and we hope they see TV time.
Spacetime Studios, developers of the hit MMORPG for Android Pocket Legends and the upcoming Space MMORPG called Blackstar, can now chalk up another 1st for the company in the form of a being one of the first mobile games to push out a national television ad for their current MMORPG, Pocket Legends.

While not literally cracking the camera on the phone we were using, Qualcomm’s recent AR developer challenge brought in some great games with the winner being a game called Paparazzi. In this game you are the paparazzi and your job is to make money getting the best picture you can of the character that appears.
December 11th, 2010 has come and gone. It was the first official worldwide Angry Birds day where Android, iOs, and any other mobile platform with Angry Birds came together to celebrate the game that has cost the world millions in production time at work. While some were fun meet-ups, others were of a more serious nature. Enjoy!
