Awesome news for all you Xperia Play owners out there. The nice Pocket PlayStation feature has been reverse-engineered to be able to play ISOs now as well. This, of course, comes from a developer over at XDA and you can thank them shortly.

We all know Minecraft is coming to Android and a few of us lucky people have had the opportunity to play it already although in a more raw beta version. As the time draws closed for the Pocket Edition of Minecraft to come out on Android, Sony Ericsson has released a little teaser video. When we say little, we mean little.
We tend to cover all things Minecraft here at DroidGamers from time to time since it will be available for the Xperia Play. It will also be available for all Android devices roughly a month after the Xperia Play exclusive time frame. Markus Persson, Head Mojang man, has released a couple of screenshots of the Endermen, the new creepy mob coming to Minecraft.
PopCap Games has announced a partnership with Sony Ericsson which will see Chuzzle, Peggle and Plants vs Zombies come pre-installed on the Xperia Mini and the Xperia Mini Pro Android devices. This means that European owners of these devices will be the first to actually get PopCap games to play.
One of the first things we did the moment E3 started was head over to the Sony Ericsson booth to get a hands-on with Minecraft (and numerous other games) on the Xperia Play. After playing around with it for awhile, we came to realize one thing. If you already like Minecraft, you will be in trouble.
Sony Ericsson has opened up a new feature on their site for showcasing games for the Xperia Play. Essentially a game developers showcase, if you make a game that is Xperia Play optimized (doesn’t have to be exclusive to the Xperia Play though) and tell them about it, they will showcase your game.
One feature that is missing from the Xperia Play is an HDMI port which we have always found to be somewhat of an interest item to be missing. Considering that the Xperia Play is essentially a game controller with a small screen, one would think the ability to stream games to the big screen via HDMI would have been included.
Gameloft have apparently been busy the last few months as word on the internet is that they plan to unveil more games at E3 2011 which will, yet again, be temporarily exclusive to the Xperia Play. This means that these games for one month will only be available to that device. After that it will be made available to others.
Since Minecraft is being debuted on Android next week at E3, we figured today’s WTF segment is a nice way to get you a little more revved up for it. Granted it will be exclusively for the Xperia Play at first but will land on other Android devices soon after. Today, we have a custom map that is just insane.
Sony Ericsson for awhile had some great promo videos for the Xperia Play. Everything some twisted looking sweatshop thumb surgery to Kristen Schaal going slightly nuts or speaking as the voice of Satan when the video is played backward. Now we get to see the outtakes that happened while filming those.
