Guncrafter lets you build your dream gun and then compete against other people

A rather interesting game has made the jump from iOS to Android finally called Guncrafter. What you will be doing in this game is designing your own gun before jumping into a multiplayer game and going head-to-head with other players around the world.

Visually Guncrafter is a lot like Minecraft in that it features the 3D blocky look to it. When building your gun, you can pretty much build it any way you like. Of course you have to keep in mind that it has to be a functional gun so creating a 6 barrel pistol with a double extended clip might not be the best route to go.

When competing against other people, you will be placed into a virtual shooting gallery where you will be trying to beat who you are competing with by being more accurate and skilled with the gun you built. Physics in this game are realistic so when designing your gun, you will have to take into consideration that you just can’t ‘spray and pray’ your way through the competition.

You also won’t be able to just build a massive gun right away. You will start off with a small table and weak materials like wood to build your first gun or two with. As you progress through the game, earning money along the way, you’ll be able to unlock bigger crafting tables and better materials. You’ll also be able to build maps/galleries to shoot your guns in.

The controls are all tap-based when building your guns, except for when you want to rotate your crafting table. You can also zoom in/out using pinch zoom gestures. When it comes to actually shooting your gun, tapping the screen where your gun is (in first-person perspective) will shoot it while tilting your device will be how you aim your gun.

Guncrafter is definitely an interesting game that fans of sandbox and FPS games might want to check out. The controls are a tad sensitive but other than that it can be pretty fun. If you’re up for taking Guncrafter for a spin, downloading the game will cost you nothing. It is ad supported and there are optional IAPs in the game as well. If you need help, there is already a guide on Google Play as well for free appropriately named Guncrafter Guide.
