Keeping with the somewhat retro/classic game theme we have going on today it seems, there is a great new puzzle/matching game out on the Android Market called Bit Stack from James Bowes. This is almost as retro as it gets in terms of graphics but the gameplay is simple and addictive.
According to a new find in the Android 4.0 SDK, Ice Cream Sandwich will come with full support of game controllers. While for some people this isn’t anything new as Honeycomb came with USB Host support for peripherals back in the 3.1 update which includes game controllers.
Minesweeper has been around for longer than I care to remember. It’s a simple game but a very frustrating one where you have to open up all the free spots on the board and isolate all the mines that are on it in order to win. This classic game has gotten a remake into a 3D version that was released onto the Android Market the other day called Sweeper 3D.
We like indie games as much as we like the big named titles as well and Bent Spoon Games will be offering up a pretty unique game called Girl with a Heart of this November on multiple platforms including Android. When it comes to indie games, you can always expect something unique and this is no exception.
EA has released another sports game onto Android, or should we say the Xperia Play, called Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 which was originally available on EA’s Flexion store for a short bit yesterday morning before making it’s way into all Xperia Play devices through the game launcher.
