LeTang drops a couple of big RPGs onto Android called Apocalypse of Skyland I and King Pirate II
LeTang is one of those developers that happen to get overlooked by a lot of gamers. However, those who do know of LeTang know that they generally put out some great quality games and in the past 24 hours they have released a couple of big retro style JRPGs onto Google Play called Apocalypse of Skyland I and King Pirate II.
Unveiled during E3 2012, Kemco has officially announced what their next big retro style JRPG will be. The official name is Symphony of the Origin and will be a prequel to their currently released JRPG called Symphony of Eternity which has done pretty well on the Google Play store.
It is time for another semi-holiday this weekend and with that you can expect some sales on games over on the Google Play store. EA is the first to announce their Father’s Day sale with a promotion called Games for Guys which will have select titles up to 40% off during the sale.
When I saw the name of this game, Jumping Electron. I was intrigued. Having a degree in Chemistry, I thought this game would be right up my alley. Jumping Electrons is fun arcade type game with a bit of a flare for the technically inclined.
Recently it was uncovered that the mobile application for Google+ had a games feature in it. While not even remotely close to being finished or functioning, the fact that it was there points to Google making their Google+ Games available for mobile devices. In a twist though, a couple of game developers have pulled their titles from Google+ Games.
Another practice that is starting to become common place is the development of companion apps for games. There are already plenty of them available for a variety of games from World of Warcraft to the Ghost Recon Network app. Now the Playstation 3 game Starhawk has its own companion application called Starhawk Uplink.
To us it wasn’t a huge surprise to see the My Xbox Live application arrive on Android since we knew it was coming awhile back. However today’s little nugget of Microsoft weirdness comes in the form of a new release from them with their Kinectimals game.
