World War Z will be getting a movie tie-in game, arriving May 30th

Brad Pitt has a movie hitting theaters soon called World War Z and Phosphor Games has been hired to develop and publish an official movie tie-in game for Android and iOS which will also be called World War Z. We already know the kind of games this company develops so we can expect to see plenty of eye candy in this new one, especially because it is also being developed using the Unreal Engine.

While the World War Z doesn’t have too many details released right now, we do know some of the content that will be coming with this game. Of course we can all expect plenty of zombie killing action but there will also be puzzles to solve and weapons/armor to find and upgrade along the way. There will be 28 levels to the game, at least when it launches. If you happen to finish the game, there is also an unlimited mode to play, testing your skills to see how long you can survive.

We do also have a few screenshots and a video trailer for the game which you can view below. If you’re a fan of zombie games then you’ll probably want to snag a copy of this when it launches on May 30th onto Google Play. You can also check out the full press release below.
