It’s Friday and time for our usual round-up of all the Android games on sale right now for this weekend. There actually happens to be quite a good selection of games currently being discounted, including some titles we haven’t seen on sale before and others we haven’t seen in some time now.

Released by CraigEatsCrayons, Dinofour is a platform adventure game that has just been released onto Google Play. Within Dinofour, players will seek to reclaim the dinosaur eggs that have been lost, and can be found at the end the levels, of which there are more than seventy, spread out over three different worlds.
Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff has received a big update today featuring a big music festival called Peterpalooza. Along with the cast from Family Guy, this update also features recording stars Snoop Dogg, Weird Al, Deadmau5, Alice Cooper, Rick Astley and more.
One closed beta that a lot of people are waiting for is the recently announced Zenonia S (working title) closed beta for Android. Originally announced on Monday, Gamevil will be hosting a closed beta testing phase for the next installment into the Zenonia franchise which has been a long time coming.
Glitchsoft Games releases X-Men: Days of Future Past side-scrolling arcade game onto Android
A new Marvel game has landed on Google Play today from Glitchsoft Games called X-Men: Days of Future Past. If you follow the Marvel movie scene then you know this is the title of the last X-Men movie that was in theaters. With that said, this game is a 2D side-scrolling arcade game with a lot of action stuffed into it.
While the name may play off of Alice in Wonderland, this particular game is actually about a land full of zombies and a girl named Alice who is out to kill every last one of them. The gameplay itself is fairly straightforward, kill zombies… lots and lots of zombies.
As pretty much everyone knows by now, Angry Birds Epic is a turn-based title featuring the birds that are always angry. However many people have questions about how this gameplay will be and unless you’re in the soft launch locations, you won’t get to play the game until its global release.
With Square Enix having wrapped of their Final Fantasy game releases onto mobile, at least for right now, the company is turning to other franchises they own to fill the game. The major one already announced is the Dragon Quest franchise but it appear we can expect some other franchises to be touched on as well.
Google has revealed what their next project is that they are working on and it is called Project Tango. Usually we don’t report on these kinds of things unless there is some sort of benefit to gaming on Android and with Project Tango there could be a pretty interesting benefit in some way to exactly that.
Nintendo has already made it abundantly clear that the company will never bring their games over to smartphones and tablets, at least not in any foreseeable future. However rumors have started up that the company was planning to release mini-games onto mobile devices, a rumor that Nintendo is all the more happy to squash right away.
