When it comes to ads and Android games, many of us have come to terms with the fact that they will always be there. In fact it is pretty much a standard option of monetizing a game that a developer releases for free. When we buy a game, we generally expect to not see ads at all although sometimes they are included anyways. Well Gameloft’s Asphalt 7: Heat is now using Airpush which happens to be one of the ad serving services that most people find incredibly annoying.

All of you hardcore fanatics of Imangi Studios’ hit continuous running game Temple Run can go ballistic today as a sequel has been spotted and is apparently slated for release tonight on iOS. So why in the hell are we talking about it? Because you know this game will also make its way to Android in the near future as well.
While Gamevil has released their idea of a head-to-head fighting game which is similar to titles like Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat as of yesterday, WeMade Entertainment has had a little gem of a brawler on Google Play for almost a month which has slipped past us until now. Touch Fighter is a pure head-to-head brawler with a simple three button system that allows you to beat the crap out of your opponents.
We mentioned in our previous article that Kairosoft had released two new games onto Google Play for folks living in Japan and the second one is called Your Dream House. At least that is what it translates into and could easily be called something else when it launches for English players worldwide.
A rather popular crane simulation game called The Little Crane That Could is heading for OUYA. The developer, Abraham Stolk, has announce that he will be making an official version of the game for the upcoming Android-based game console OUYA and it should be available right when OUYA launches publicly in March 2013.
Disney officially announces Disney Infinity, a toy-based cross-platform sandbox gaming platform
Disney just finished holding their press event this afternoon where they have officially announced something they have been hinting at for the past few month: Disney Infinity. This is a rather huge project from Disney that is going to be a massive cross-platform sandbox gaming platform that breaks past the barriers of digital platforms and invades toys as well. Think Skylanders but on a much more massive and interactive, ever expanding scale.
Well it looks like we have a couple of Kairosoft games heading our way in the very near future and the first one we are going to talk about is called Stakes Ranch G1. The name actually roughly translates from Japanese to English as Stakes G1 Ranch but we’ve taken the liberty of switching the name around a bit to make it actually sound like a title that makes sense.
For those of you who don’t own enough zombie games already you will be happy to know there is another one now available on Google Play called In Darkness. Developed by SimpleGamesStudio, this new zombie game is set in a first-person perspective but it isn’t just about mowing down as many zombies as you can.
Square Enix has put up a teaser site for an upcoming RPG title that could be arriving on Android on January 17th which is this Thursday. It could also be for an iOS game release, or both, but we really don’t know. It could be for one of the Final Fantasy games Square Enix recently teased would be heading our way soon or it could be something completely different.
A few days ago during CES 2013 Rovio pushed out an update for their Angry Birds Space game that tosses the birds into a whole new galaxy that happens to be filled with water… lots and lots of water. This means you will also have to deal with the physics of the water as well as the physics you find in space.
