Last week we reported on the soft launch for Final Fantasy Brave Exvius which is currently only available in a couple of selection regions, mainly Japan. However Square Enix and gumi inc have announced that the global launch for this game will be happening this year and actually in the pretty near future.

Soda Dungeon from Armor Games has been updated with a few new features and additional goodies for players to check out. If you’re not familiar with this game, Soda Dungeon is a dungeon crawling game where you will be hiring different classes of adventurers from the ‘pub’ you run.
Indie development studio called Mode Games, in conjunction with Massive Monster, have released their newest title onto mobile today called Super Rocket Pets. This particular game is an arcade platformer where players will choose which pet they want to control, coming equipped with a rocket pack to start, before setting off to save the galaxy.
MHGames has announced that their newest puzzler called Oddhop will be landing on Android later this Spring and have released details about what exactly will be coming with this game. This particular game takes place in more of a board game style, where players will be presented a hexagonal terrain filled with different animals.
[Update: Soft Launched] Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius will be launching on Android in Japan this week
If you happen to live in Japan, or at least know how to read Japanese, then you will be able to pick up Square Enix’s Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius for Android later this week. This game was originally announced near the end of last year and has since been in development. More recently, Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius was shown off during the Tokyo Game Show this year.
So far in the two years that Nvidia has launched the Nvidia Shield tablet we have had two iterations, the original and then the recently released Tegra K1 version. It seems a new version is passing through the FCC right now and this time it looks like it’ll be sporting the Tegra X1 chipset. This would obviously be a big improvement if this ends up being true.
4:33 Creative Labs may only have a couple of games available so far on Android, but those games have done very well for themselves already. The developer’s next title was announced today and is called Seven Guardians. This will be an action-based strategy-RPG title featuring a side-scrolling style of gameplay.
Kick9, the developers behind a few other games of this nature, has released a new Action-RPG title onto mobile devices today called Warriors of Glory. This particular game was actually published originally over in a few Asian regions, but has now been released in Europe and North America.
Assassin’s Creed’s Ezio Auditore now has his own playable character in the mobile RPG Soul Hunters
Ubisoft, the company behind the Assassin’s Creed franchise among others, has teamed up with Lilith Games to bring one of the Assassin’s Creed franchise’s characters to Lilith Games’ Soul Hunters RPG on Android. This means that players will be able to actually unlock and play as Ezio Auditore in the game.
In other VR news today, word on the virtual street is that Google may be gearing up to release an Android-powered Virtual Reality headset of their own at next week’s Google I/O 2016. This wouldn’t be a massive surprise or anything if it actually came to pass, since this is the next logical step from Google Cardboard in the world of VR headset evolution. This is especially true with yesterday’s news that there is over a million active Gear VR users.
