Spider-Man Unlimited is available to download now in the Play Store. Gameloft has recently released Spider-Man Unlimited and it is an endless runner and free-to-play. I can hear the thunderous sighs and moans as the words appeared on the screen. I know, the endless runner genre is full of games, but Gameloft has done a good job of making a game that fans of Spider-Man may enjoy.
Mimimi Productions based in Munich, Germany, is close to releasing their latest project daWindci Deluxe to Android. In a refreshing take on games that deal with flight, daWindci Deluxe is the definitive edition from Mimimi Productions. The first title daWindci, was released on iOS to much acclaim. It received the Apple Design Award in 2012. Other awards for the game include the Computer Games Award and Best Handheld Game in 2011. When daWindci Deluxe takes flight on Android, we expect Mimimi Productions will deliver another high-quality playing environment.
Goon Studios, based in Pasadena, California, is a game development studio to follow. Their game Boogey Boy, has jumped into the Play Store. It is a colorful, action-filled, platforming game that will easily draw you into its clutches.
If you were ever afraid of the dark as a child, you will easily identify with the theme behind this game. Goon Studios has taken a mythical creature in the Boogeyman and created a 3D-side scrolling infinite runner that you should try out. Can you escape the Boogeyman?
I had the opportunity to interview Jonas Byrresen of Bedtime Digital Games. Their new game Back to Bed is now available for Android devices. It is a puzzle game with lush visuals akin to Salvador Dali and M.C. Escher. If you enjoyed Monument Valley, Back to Bed is a game that you will want to add to your collection. The interview allows us to get to know the designer and Bedtime Digital Games. We get to peer into the process for creating such art and are thankful to Klaus Pedersen and Jonas Byrresen for taking the time to answer our questions.
It is encouraging to hear about how many games are in development for Android devices. At times, they are created for Android and then make their way to iOS. Other times it is the other way around. Every now and then we hear about games that started off on consoles or other handheld devices making their way to the Android gaming community. Such is the case with game developer Qubic Games. They have released more than ten games during their tenure for Nintendo DSi, Wii, 3DS, Wii U, PlayStation Vita and for iPhone and iPad. The game they are currently working on is AiRace Speed.

Interview with Lead Game Designer René Laurent of SuperHippo Games about their latest game Pirate Legends TD
SuperHippo Games, based in Ireland, released Pirate Legends TD late last week in the Play Store. Yes, I know what you are thinking. There are an abundance of tower defense games out there. However, few of them take place on the high seas and are full of such robust action as displayed in Pirate Legends. I was given the opportunity to find out more about the game, the company that produced it and how SuperHippo plans to impact the mobile gaming arena. René Laurent, Lead Game Designer for Pirate Legends TD was gracious enough to answer a few questions for me.
