Wayward Souls is a dungeon crawler/RPG by Noodlecake Studios. It has a few interesting features that are noteworthy. It has a bit of a rogue -like influence as the game uses “procedurally generated random levels”, or in other words its levels are randomly generated.

If you’re a fan of match three styled games (Bejeweled and Candy Crush are the big ones in that genre), Halfbrick Studios (makers of Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride) has released a new game called Brizzle Fever that you might want to take a look at. This avian themed game is (in some respects) like many other games of that genre: players are given a board and asked to clear pieces by matching three or more of a single kind.
Have you ever played those riddle games, where one person knows how a riddle is solved and everyone else tries to figure it out by asking only close-ended questions? As an example, consider the following: You’re a cop trying to solve a possible murder. The deceased has been shot, and there are 53 bicycles on the floor surrounding him.
Tilt City is a casual game that’s now available in Google Play. Developed by Deebthik, the game appears to be the first by the developer, and is quite simple. There are balls begin in the upper right hand corner, and roll towards the center of the screen.
Mines of Mars is a side-scrolling RPG from Crescent Moon games. For those that aren’t familiar with them, they also created the FPS called Neon Shadow, RPG RavenSword, and a slew of other games covering all sorts of genres. Fans of mobile RPGs are no stranger to Kemco’s work, and their work continues with their latest Android release called RPG Illusion of L’Phalcia. In this release, players are searching for a sword that, when sufficiently powered with magic, is able to grant any wish.
60 Seconds is an upcoming game set in the cold-war era, with a suburbanite protagonist named Ted. The premise of the game is simple: Players have 60 seconds from when they hear the sirens to grab Ted’s family members and any supplies that are deemed necessary or helpful, and bring them into a bomb shelter to ride out the missile exchange.
Super Boxman is twist on the Endless Runner genre. Players assume the role of the eponymous Super Boxman who is attempting to save his village from invasion, only the invasion is in the form of weird shapes that are descending from the sky. Whereas other endless runner games are as their name would imply, this game is played in a more vertical fashion.
If you like puzzle games, especially those that are a serious challenge, then Rote might be up your alley. The color palate used by RageFX is simple, with lots of whites and bright colors used to denote what’s happening within Rote.
Back before it was trendy, bordering on trite, for games to feature a silhouetted foreground with a colorful background, Oscura was a side-scrolling game that featured that design. While the original didn’t garner much attention (it’s sitting at 50,000+ downloads despite being a worthwhile play that’s been around for ~3 years), a sequel has been released called Oscura 2: Second Shadow
