While there is no absolutely known example of what gaming could look like through Google Glasses, although we can certainly guess, this video shows how it could look. This is, of course, hypothetical and even if it does come true would be way in the future.
We have talked about the Hooked game recommendation and discovery application for Android a few times in the past. Well late last night an update was pushed out that brings a new feature to the application called Critic’s Choice. So what does this new feature entail?
A new 3D action-arcade game is heading our way sometime at the end of this month (April) called Monster of Puppets which is being published by NuOxygen. Originally developed by Drakkar Dev, Monster of Puppets will be a rather dark tap & slash type of game for Android.
It seems a lot of classic games are being remade and revamped for release on mobile. Another one in currently in the works called The Bluecoats – North & South which is being remade for mobile by Microids. For those of you unfamiliar with this game, The Bluecoats is an action-strategy game set during the Civil War period.
It’s every developer’s dream to make a fortune off their apps, but the reality is only a small percentage of apps make enough money to send a developer into an early retirement. Sometimes apps literally become more trouble than they’re work. Instead of remaining the captain of a sinking ship, developers can choose to sell their app in its entirety on a newly-opened site called Apptopia.
The Oregon Trail, a game from back in the day that is still popular and has had many revamps and spin-offs over the years, now has a new indie game development team working on a title which will pay homage to this classic. Currently being developed by a team calling themselves The Men Who Wear Many Hats, this new game will be filled with zombies and pixel art.
The world’s first Android 4.0 device will become available to Sprint customers starting this Sunday April 22. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be sold for $199 on a two-year contract. If you pre-order the device now, there’s a chance you’ll get it in the mail this Friday ahead of its official launch.
We’ve reported on a couple cheap Android 4.0 tablets in the past week including the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and the Ematic eGlide Prism. Today, a New York company called XTEX is getting in one the action with its new tablet called the XTEX My Tablet 7. XTEX is selling this device on its website for $149.99.
Back in the beginning of February 2012 SilverTree Media released a new Cordy themed game onto Android called Cordy Sky. Shortly after reporting on the game’s release it mysteriously disappeared from the Google Play store for some reason. Well it now seems to be back and staying put this time.
This last week, one of my favorite game publishers were very generous to us. Gamevil released not one, but two retro-style RPG games. Being a Gamevil fan and lover of retro RPG, it seemed quite fitting for me to review at least one of them. So here we go.
