KickBack Studios was started back in 2010. They are independent game studio that is based in Larisa, Greece. They started working on a six month project that ended up taking two years to complete. KickBack is a team of two extremely talented individuals that have created the game Lost Echo. It is a beautifully rendered point and click adventure game that will intrigue and challenge you from the very beginning.
For today only, Lara Croft GO will be on sale. In this game players will assume the role of the eponymous Lara Croft, which in case you didn’t know is the main character from the Tomb Raider series. Unlike that series though, which is action adventure and played in a 3D environment, this entry into the GO franchise takes Lara in a different direction.
Remember the wondrous journey of the Glorkian Warrior? Well if you do then you’ll be happy to know that the developers behind that game are getting ready to release their next one called Last Horizon onto Android soon. Unlike their past games though, this one is a bit more on the serious side of things.

We are going to call this week’s round-up the week of the repeats, since there is a total five new games on sale right now. The rest of the list happens to be all repeats, not that this is a bad thing either.
Assorted Nuts Entertainment, which is a fantastic name for a company, has released a new Hello Kitty game called World of Friends. In this particular Hello Kitty game players will be taking the little white kitten around her hometown exploring London and visiting plenty of her friends along the way.
Back in June of this year we reported on Deep Silver Fishlabs who announced that they will be porting the classic PC adventure game Lost Horizon to mobile devices. Originally the goal was to have the game available on iOS in July, followed by the Android release shortly thereafter. As you are probably aware, it isn’t available on either platform yet.
Everbyte is an indie game development studio that is made up of four students and they have just released their first game for Android devices called Sinister Edge. This is a Virtual Reality horror adventure game but even though it was designed for VR headsets, it can also be played without them just fine.
Indie game development studio Young Horses are the folks behind the comical game franchise Octodad on PC. Now it looks like this game will be expanding its reach to other platforms as Young Horses has begun teasing a mobile version of the original Octodad game that is on its way to us soon.
Nvidia’s GeForce Now gaming-on-demand platform seems to be continuing the trend they have been doing for quite some time now, with releasing a new game every week on Tuesday. However, it seems as of late, there has been more than one game added each week instead, and this week is no exception to that either.
Soon to be released by Rumpus Animation, The Adventures of Bertram Fiddle is the (hopeful) sequel in the Bertram Fiddle franchise, which is a comedic point-and-click adventure game. The developers say it is “inspired by point-and-click games such as Monkey Island and following in the comedy footsteps of Day of the Tentacle”.
