NothingElse is a very dark game, a very short game, a game that doesn’t allow you to save your progress, yet great nonetheless. I’ll do the best I can to review this without of spoiling the ending, which was incredibly dark, but I definitely didn’t see it coming. For that reason, the game won me over.

The Last Express is a murder mystery that was originally released for Macs and PCs in the spring of 1997, and has since been ported to Android. It’s set in the days leading up to World War I, and you play the entire game on a passenger train passing through a large portion of Europe, on its way to Constantinople. On the whole, it’s quite unique for for a game. In some ways, it’s a bit like the game Clue, as both games have players confined to a space full of colorful characters that each have their own agenda. You need to navigate those agendas to accomplish your own in solving a murder.
Shivah. Noun, Judaism. A period of seven days’ formal mourning for the dead, beginning immediately after the funeral. It also is the name of a point and click murder mystery available on Google Play for $1.99. Originally, the game designed for desktops in 2006, and it is currently available to those of us on Android.
Back in March we covered a great new gamebook adventure, by developer Inkle, that was written by Steve Jackson called Sorcery!. This new series had you choosing a male or female hero and through the progression of the game, told in a storybook narrative, went on a grand adventure while gaining new spells with which to use during encounters.
A new and unique adventure, Tormentum – Dark Sorrow is being crafted for Android amongst other platforms, and the developers are asking for your help via IndieGoGo.
Dark Lands is a hybrid game containing elements of an endless runner and an action-adventure game, complete with endless running evasion tactics and a full combat system for dealing with those pesky enemies blocking the player’s way. Released earlier this May, Bulkypix’s Dark Lands packs a long playing experience into 2 content-filled game modes. Without question, its crossbreed characteristics will turn some heads but how does this marriage of an action-adventure x endless runner x platformer really play out?
Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff the game that allows you to take Quahog with you in your pocket
For those of you who are fans of Family Guy show you can now play the official Family Guy game on Android and iOS. In the game Peter Griffen has accidentally destroyed Quahog in a battle with the giant chicken and now he must save and the city. In order to do that you must rebuild the city by taking on the roles of various characters from the show and send them on hilarious quests that will affect the whole town.
It was a long time coming, but the game that won the award for most immersive game at OUYA’s GameJam competition last year, is finally being released to the public.
Unearthed: Trail of Ibn Battuta is now available on the Google Play store. An episodic game, with only episode 1 being released thus far, Unearthed is about a “fortune hunter” and his adventure in the middle east. The game is a third person action game with shooting and hand to hand combat, along with platforming and driving.
Watch Dogs is getting a companion App that will allow players to interact with the upcoming title. This news keeps up with the current trend where a lot of major game releases that are coming up for other platforms are getting companion apps that players can use and interact with while playing the matching game.
