While Channel 1 and 2 for Google I/O 2015 are more focused on mobile technologies, programming and development, along with other things in those areas, like Android Wear, Channel 3 is more about other Google related subjects such as Polymer and Modern Web APIs, which happens to be the starting session on this channel.

Google I/O Day 2 Chan. 2 live stream is live. Coming up: Project Tango, designing for Virtual Reality and more
Google has three channels of live streams for Google I/O 2015. Each one has its own schedule for keynotes and sessions, all of which focus on different areas. All three channels went live at 9am PST and channel 2 is starting off with “Smarter user acquisition with App Indexing, AdWords and Google Analytics” and will then be followed-up with Project Tango, Designing for Virtual Reality and some other great sessions.

It’s Friday and it is Day 2 of Google I/O 2015 and Google is streaming their keynotes and sessions live via YouTube like always. Of course if you happen to be here already, we have added the stream here for you to watch and the first keynote for Day 2 is the Google ATAP (Advanced Technology and Projects team) keynote.
Square Enix released the transcript from their financial results briefing as well as their planning for the 2016 Fiscal Year and there were some interesting tidbits to be found in there. Square Enix has done well for themselves so far this year apparently across all platforms, those being PC, console and mobile. In fact, according to CEO Yosuke Matsuda, games for smart devices did quite well.
[Update: Game Released] New Puzzle Platformer Looking for Laika launches onto Amazon’s Appstore today
Looking for Laika is a new puzzle platformer that has arrived for Android today, currently available only on Amazon’s Appstore. The game itself actually has a rather cool minimalistic look to it visually and the gameplay is that of a side-scrolling platformer but with a more unique method of controlling your character.
Released by indie dev Chasing Carrots, Cosmonautica isn’t your typical space simulator. The game has a bit of a mash-up of trading, “life simulation”, and combat. Players assume the role of the captain of a dilapidated spaceship, and through caring for both it and your crew, try to become the most successful space merchant in the galaxy.
As most of our readers are already aware, yesterday was the first day for Google’s annual developer conference. While many cool and exciting features were previewed for the upcoming “M” release, there were very few announcements that would impact gaming, save for the new version of Cardboard and for the new Shield set top box. According to NVidia, the new Shield unit will work for cord-cutters, viewing the web on a TV set, or gaming.
Square Enix has released the third installment into their Chaos Rings franchise today which is appropriately named Chaos Rings III. Even though this is labeled as the third game, there is now four Chaos Rings titles available on Android: Chaos Rings, Chaos Rings II, Chaos Rings Omega, and now this one.
Anyone that has ever played the game Serious Sam knows that game developer Croteam has a knack for introducing you to in game events that you never saw coming. Well, Croteam is at again with their latest project being published by Devolver Digital. At E3, the gathering throngs were introduced to what Croteam is calling a ‘First Person Philosophical Puzzler or FP3.’ Are you scratching your head yet?
[UPDATE: Game Released] Story-driven roguelike PC game Sproggiwood will be making its way to Android soon
Fans of Roguelike games have a new one to look forward to soon and this one happens to be a port of a currently existing PC title. Developed by FreeHold Games, Sproggiwood will be making the leap from PC to mobile next week and if you are worried about the game being slimmed down for mobile gameplay, FreeHold Games says that it will be full featured and not trimmed down.
