While the world waited with baited breath as announcements were pouring out of Google I/O yesterday, a small message appeared on the Twitter feed of Versus Evil. “We couldn’t be happier to see #BannerSaga by @StoicStudio coming to tablets this summer! Expect more info very soon!” What wonderful information can be found in a simple tweet!

Back in October 2014 we reported on Amazon’s game development studio who happen to be working on three new games that would be heading our way in the near future. One of those games has now been released onto Amazon’s AppStore for their line of Fire tablets.
If you happen to be a fan of The Binding of Isaac style of gameplay then you’ll be happy to know that there is a new game on Android called Obslashin’ which brings that same sort of top-down dungeon crawling gameplay to us today. Originally released as a soft launch, today marks the game’s international release for everyone to grab a copy and start hacking at enemies.
The other day the newest Minecraft: Pocket Edition version update was pushed out to users who had been eagerly awaiting all the new visual tweaks and bug fixes that was going to be coming with the release of 0.10.0. Well as with any new version update and lots of tweaks that happen with it, other nasty little bugs have shown up. It’s okay though, Mojang is on it and version 0.10.1 is slated for release at some point today.
Liber Primus Games will be bringing their first RPG to Android next week called Narborion Saga. This particular game is a mesh of an RPG with a narrative-style adventure game which features dynamic storytelling, side quests and mini games. This game also features some pretty awesome illustrated art to check out while you’re playing it.
Not to be confused with KungFu Panda, Snail Games recently released gameplay videos at E3 from their upcoming project Taichi Panda. Snail Games is known for PC games such as Age of Wushu and Heroes of Gaia. It is great to see PC game developers creating new projects for mobile devices. The first game play videos make me wish I had Taichi Panda on my mobile device now, but alas, we will all have to wait a little bit longer because it comes out later this year.
Probably one of the most popular games by the Trese Brothers happens to be their turn-based strategy RPG called Heroes of Steel. So far the game has received two expansion and now there is a third one that is available called Whispers Over Steel. In this expansion your heroes will be returning to the surface of the world they have left behind.
Kemco, creator of all sorts of JRPGs like Crystareino, RPG Band of Monsters, and more, has released a new game. Seven Sacred Beasts is a game where players assume the role of Mattie, who is entering a tournament that intends to determine who is the best summoner of monsters.
Chillingo has released a new Android game called Duck Destroyer which brings the good ole Duck Hunt type of gameplay into the modern era. This means you will now be able to ruthlessly shoot ducks whenever the urge to do so strikes you. On a bus and want to kill ducks? Why not! At a PETA gathering and feel like massacring hordes of ducks? Sure thing!
While Square Enix may not be bringing the actual games from the console/PC series to mobile devices for the foreseeable future, that isn’t stopping the company from bringing spin-off games to mobile. In the past 24 hours two new Final Fantasy games have been announced – Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius and Final Fantasy Legends: Crystal Of Time And Space.
